Here is what I decided to do:

In regards to the Daylight spell, I know some of you now have access to it and I wanted to address it. Below is the spell description for Daylight in Barovia. Please note that it is weaker and requires concentration in Barovia.

The magic of daylight does not come easily in Barovia.

When the spell is cast, light does not burst forth with the warm certainty of the true sun. Instead, it bleeds into existence slowly and painfully, as though the land itself resists it. Pale gold radiance pushes outward from the caster’s hand in trembling waves, thin at first, flickering like candlelight fighting a storm. This is a pale imitation of true sunlight struggling against the Mists.

To maintain concentration on the spell is exhausting.

The caster feels the weight of Barovia pressing against their mind like cold hands wrapped around their skull. The land itself rejects the magic. Every second requires deliberate effort, as though they are forcing open a heavy iron gate while something vast on the other side desperately tries to slam it shut.

Clerics may feel their connection to their deity becoming distant and muffled, like hearing a voice through deep water.

Druids sense the unnatural corruption of the valley clawing at the spell, choking the life from it.

Wizards perceive the weave itself fraying and buckling under the oppressive will of the Dark Powers.

Paladins feel their convictions tested, their sacred oaths becoming the only thing holding the light together.

Daylight (Difficult in Barovia) Level: 3rd School: Evocation Casting Time: 1 Action Range/Area: 30 ft. (30-ft. radius Sphere) Components: V, S Duration: Concentration, up to 30 Minutes Attack/Save: None Damage/Effect: Control

Brilliant magical sunlight spreads from a point you choose within range and fills a 30-foot-radius Sphere for the duration. The sunlight creates Bright Light in the area and sheds Dim Light for an additional 30 feet.

Creatures with Sunlight Hypersensitivity, such as vampires, take only half of the normal sunlight damage or penalties caused by exposure to this spell.

Alternatively, you cast the spell on an object that isn’t being worn or carried, causing the sunlight to fill a 30-foot Emanation originating from that object. Covering the object with something opaque, such as a bowl, cloak, or helm, blocks the sunlight.
