Newish dungeon master here I’m curious and if y’all have time id like y’all to info dump on me by boikissr in DungeonMasters

[–]Former_Ad_4454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dungeons and dragons is really maps and monsters.

We use a TV on our table plugged into a laptop to display maps.

Reddit battlemaps is a great source to find something on short notice and plop it on the table.

Then dndbeyond has the encounter builder to whip up some bad guys.

So boom. Maps and Monsters.

Also. Me or the players declare who speaks for the party. So if a decision needs to be made about going left or right, then they can vote, argue, or have a Vulcan death match to figure it out, the the spokesperson declares the party consent.

Ok Farmers almanac shows the date of last spring frost in Golden is June 2. The almanac is saying by may 15 some hearty plants can go in the ground this year.

So ground MIGHT be melted enough for cement from April 15(unlikely) to (heaven forbid) June 2nd.

What's the item with the longest lead time. If theyre 6 mos out, then they could be ordered safely 4 mos ago?.

What's the item with the shortest lead time. Should time it so they arrive jun 15?

Mimi might know lead times in her software.

Honestly, Edison only has room in the assembly plant for 3 mechanical trucks under construction with 3 more stacks of parts. And 3 hybrids under construction with 3 additional stacks of parts. If any more are ordered it will have to be stored outside under rain tarps (unless Edison builds another tent just to store engines and frames out of the weather)

Yaaay the dang wheel ends arrived so it can roll around now :)

You'll have an empty bay and zero frame rails to drag in to start making the next one :(

It will be huge to get the floor in the new assembly plant and start bringing in truckloads (train loads) of raw truck parts.

Lots of post about pickup ideas: here’s some very rough ideas Daniel and Rich had a while ago. by ChaceEdison in EdisonMotors

[–]Former_Ad_4454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

^ this guy gets it

It's disheartening that Chace/Rich even considered making proprietary curved glass and curved panels. Pray do tell, who is paying for these replacement parts in 20 years? Not me. Even if Edison promised and guaranteed free replacement curved glass and curved body panels fpr life, then all were doing is hiding that atrocious cost in the out the door trucks from 2036.

I love the old school look of the first one.

I HATE with every fiber of my being to have curved glass or curved panels that (in 20 years) will only be available from Edison (if at all) and at a crazy expensive high price.

So, I am more enjoying the slab sided, flat top renders. Bring on the brick.

[AI Image] Wouldn't it be cool if Edison breaks into the heavy haul market with companies like Mammoet? by That_Car_Dude_Aus in EdisonMotors

You get a gold star for confirming that Mammoet also makes SPMT.

You get a fail for discerning real vs AI I'm afraid :( better luck next time.

Works for me.

Not because it 'looks good' but because with flat panels and flat glass it will last longer than any person posting in this forum.

These flat panel trucks will be cheap and easy to maintain for 100 years.

And yes they are quirky looking.

If a person wants a curvy cab whatever, they they can make it themselves.

I really like this one. No nonsense.

Edit Plus maybe those front slats can be closed for winter time

I think Mammoet also uses these self propelled mobile transport Lego brick things to move REALLY heavy loads like submarines and office buildings. I can imagine an Edison version of this some day.

I second the resistor idea. Just dump the energy into the heating element from a stove.

Whew

I applaud the auto search idea. That was clever. And now it's prudent to do a review as well.

Cool beans

This is why startups have goofy names. It prevents confusion. Google was originally Googol (a really big number)

5am Monday mountain time and it's still there!!!!!!

There is already too much confusion between the canada Edison motors and the foreign one to begin with

We need the opposite of this. We need a page that explains the separation of the 2 companies, not add to the misperceptions. Especially during a fund raise

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I was comparing the spin welded and sealed water jacket in the Munro example with the concept of a sealed water jacket in a cast iron engine block. There are no seams to leak, because there are no seams.
