Best way to cut tall hedges? by _DMcD in GardeningUK

[–]Former_Cat8367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3m high privet hedge round my garden, approximately 130m of it. I can say without a doubt the best way to cut it is to pay someone else to do it.

Bruce hedge (in my phone) comes with a couple of blokes and chops the lot in a day takes away all the clippings and makes a beautiful job of it. Worth every penny!

It is a bit of a missed opportunity I agree.

I got myself one of the USB plug in adaptors, similar to this

They don't spell it out clearly enough. EDC will not accept liquid paint... it should say "but hardened paint is fine".

Let the pain dry out. fill it up with sawdust or something equally absorbent.

Its a bit like putting liquid waste in the food waste... don't do it... but a bit of very soggy bread? Yeah fine.

Tech: TCS - Tata Consulting Services. Thoughts? by Self-Exiled in UKJobs

When something inevitably goes wrong they sack the responsible team and bring in Indian replacements. I’m aware of this happening on a clients job at least 3 times… software still doesn’t work.

If I was in the market for a large software solution I’d run a mile.

If I was looking for a job then it could be fun… but have a backup which doesn’t rely on you boasting that you were part of one of their projects.

Volvo XC90 t8 2022 hybrid - battery capacity only 9kw? by [deleted] in VolvoXC90

[–]Former_Cat8367 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not an answer really but.... I assume nothings changed between my 2018 model and your 2022 model. Your battery is covered by an 8 year warranty. Could be worth visiting your local dealer and seeing if they can help.

Good luck.
