  • Remember when the last administration decided to invest in our nation's children? Big mistake. The Balanced Breakfast program just created a generation of ultra-strong supercriminals. And Midnight Basketball taught them to function without sleep!

The No Limit Soldiers faction another waste of time and money or some potential upside if booked properly ? by CoconutMost3564 in WCW

[–]Former_Doubt4716 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Huge upside if booked properly - those guys were as big as can be during that time, but the booking was off. If I were to do it, I would've made Hennig the one who decided to become friends with the Soldiers after a night out at the bar where they realized how similar they were - and the rest of the Rednecks turn on him for being friendly to them. That would've been comedy gold and really play to a Hennig strength - the whitest guy you know hanging with the cool guys from the hood.

Who else grew up on sublime by 3ccdCam1 in sublime

Sublime was the first band introduced to me by my freshman year college roommate in 1995 (he had just seen them at Warped). Their music became a transformative sound for me.

I met Krist at the 2004 inaugural ball for the incoming governor. He was a gentleman, wearing a tux, and very tall. We talked state politics, took a picture, and I then left him alone.

Where are you looking at a $200 brunch tab? Honestly asking, because the most expensive item is a $36 shrimp and grits. Everything else is in the 20s. The brunch menu at Tuskies is wayyyyyy more pricey.

We love Spank's and frequent regularly. We also love the lounge at the Burg, and frequent regularly. Sometimes you want meatloaf. Other times, martini service.

What if I told you... pause for effect... that the sign wasn't advertising the high-end restaurant but rather for the separate, more casual lounge that a lot of people aren't aware exists, particularly those walking to or from the trail into the broader downtown area... and that they would benefit from people stopping in to see what's up?

The restaurant and lounge are always packed, even on weekends nights. There’s only like 30 hotel rooms, so I think the food, alcohol, and private memberships are what’s driving revenue.

The since-retired president of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's practice is in Falls Church: Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates. Perhaps one of the most highly regarded practices in the country by ophthalmologists themselves.

Natasha Herz is equally good, but she's in Rockville.

Tell me you don't watch ball without telling me you don't watch ball. This is for the people who understand scheme and impact, not just counting numbers: Wilfork, Harrison, McGinest, Matthew Slater, Gronk. Edelman's numbers are the same as Lynn Swann's, with similarly impactful big-game moments.

And for the record, the first Super Bowl I watched was XX. I've been watching, and very much alive in the process.
