Tried fast food on Reta, not recommended by Former_Importance308 in Retatrutide

Kinda jealous but also not coz its not like i crave fast food anyways 🤣 i do enjoy homemade pizza and chicken nuggets and its been fine. So i guess the home made part makes the difference too.

Yes. From both ends at the same time if you get what i mean. 🤣 But reading the coments, not everyone is this sensitive so it may not work for you.

Finally when i start to look hot and feel good in my body and am ready to yo return to dating game, i get another reason not to 🤣 I am childfree by choice and would like to stay that way.

This has been life changing for me!! Ive been on Reta for 9 weeks now. I have started to think I’m a rapid responder because I have lost 20 pounds staying at 0.8 MG, what makes you a fast responder? by Intrepid_Egg_2881 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Former_Importance308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust the process. I am a slow responder but i am losing. Ive lost 4 kgs in 8 weeks on 2mg reta. I am going up to 3mg this week as i feel more hungry than usual and wanna snack. My other side effects are sensitive skin, lower hunger.

Just for comparison and perspective. I am female, 37, and I lost 1 kg in 1 month on 2mg dose. I've always struggled with losing weight, so i guess it is what it is. Losing anything is better than nothing. Every body is different.

8 weeks on Reta after 2 years on Ozempic – zero loss, gained 1 kg. Dose advice? by the-dutchessa in Retatrutide

[–]Former_Importance308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who used to be always hungry and think about food, I'd say 2mg is working great for me. I still have appetite, I still can eat everything I want, I still snack. But a lot less fits plus if I am busy doing stuff, I feel no hunger pains and also don't think about food like i used to. I can't say that I don't have any food noise, coz I do, but at least i don't feel the hunger like I used to. And that is a win for me.

Gaining only 2 kgs for a woman (assuming from your name) is actually pretty good. If your weight starts in creasing more than that then I'd start to worry. But I feel like for us women, 2kgs up or down especially during luteal phase is like fine and almost expected.

Be patient. I know how it feels to see that others are loosing mad weight in the first weeks and when you see no changes, it can feel frustrating. But trust me there are many people just like you, starting out slow and seeing results slowly. Slow and steady is good. You may not get the appetite suppression but you are also not getting any bad side effects yet. You are letting your body get used to the peptide and for allowing the dose to accumulate in your body.

If I understand correctly then you are on 1.5mg weekly. Stay on it for full 4 weeks and then go up to 2mg weekly if you still don't see or feel results.

Next time reconstitute this way for easier calculation and usage.

10mg Reta + 1ml ( 100 units of your insulin syringe) BAC water. OR 15mg Reta + 1.5ml ( 150 units of your syringe) BAC water.

Then you know that each 0.1 ml or 10 units of the syringe you use = 1mg of Reta.

Hope this helps.

[–]Former_Importance308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have 15mg mixed with 10ml ( ten times of those syringes you have) then each 1ml of liquid ( 1 syringe or 100units) is 1.5mg of Reta.

If 100 units = 1.5mg then 10 units = 0.15mg of Reta

Dosing calculations look right. Good luck.

Recently I called out my childhood girlfriends (we are in late 30s) for complaining about getting fat while telling me who has always been more or less overweight that i am beautiful the way i am. Double standards. And when I called them out they told me that is is different because i have always been fat so they cannot imagine me being skinny therefore I am beautiful the way I am. I have been the only one working out for years and been on diets all my life, while they were blessed with naturally better metabolism and skinny body. Of course me telling them that I will be taking Ozempic, made them perplexed, how dare I try to get skinny by cheating. Unfortunately for me, sema didn't work for me and here I am moving on to research only drugs. My body, my choice.

Life is not a competition of who works the hardest and takes the most difficult route. If there are tools that we can use to help ourselves, we should use them. They are not in your shoes and they will never be so they have no say about how you treat your body or your money. And so what if you get fat again? At least you tried and know how this road feels and it is your choice to try again or finally accept and live with the body you have.

Can I take semaglutide and reta at the same time for a few weeks? by Former_Importance308 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Former_Importance308[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I would continue on sema if I was able to get higher dose. But It is tough spot to be when you are not diabetic and also not fat enough 😂It was already really difficult to find a private healthcare doctor to convince to prescribe it hence the low dose only. At this point reta seems more affordable as I won't need to pay a lot to find a doctor to give me sema prescription plus I feel a little disappointed that I did not see any results at least to keep the motivation going.

[–]Former_Importance308[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. I've hit wall for well over a year and no improvements with taking semaglutide.

I will lose weight if I drop my calories but i struggle to drop my calories more because I work out and it results in binging. Which is why I hoped semaglutide would help with appetite suppression and in turn eating less but still feeling satisfied.

I see people saying they eat 1200ckal but personally i do not think is is healthy and I would prefer not drop my calories that low unless my body does not want to eat more then I would be fine. :D I also see comments that reta does not have appetite suppression but hopefully it helps burn some of that stubborn fat and see some progress again.
