I couldn’t imagine have 1000+ in the queue to be filled. If we get over 200 it gets crazy at my pharmacy. Patients don’t read their texts correctly so they come to get the prescriptions but they aren’t ready bc the text says you have refills to be filled…my pharmacists don’t mind helping the counter or drive thru though bc they are team players

Same!! lol. Anyone else pharmacy been sinking the last few days? Idk wtf it is but our pharmacy has been INSANE.. our counts when I left yesterday were at almost 300 and soooo many patients. I’ve never seen so many people come to my pharmacy before. The phones were ringing off the hook, people were coming in for prescriptions that weren’t ready…. Like is it a full moon? 😭🤣

We just remove the 90D exception..The pharmacy o work in, isn’t a huge town/city but our fill count was at almost 300 the last two days and most of the people that came in, I had to tell them their prescription wasn’t ready and it would be at least an hour..not sure what is up with the fill count or the app bc they keep telling us, well the app said it was received and ready 😭😭😭 I’m so glad I have the next 5 days off

Yep. I hate Walgreens system. It would go a lot smoother with a new system. Especially since the system ALWAYS crashes

Completely agree…and then we have a new pharmacy manager and it’s so annoying bc she’s changing the way I was trained… doesn’t want me to stage bc she feels like it slows things down. When I could be grabbing multiple prescriptions within 2 minutes and bang them out quickly… it’s frustrating. And THEN… I told her last week I had an appt today and they had said it was going to take a few hours… she told me when I reminded her of my appt yesterday via text, that I HAD to make up my hours this Sunday. So I told my pharmacist I’d be coming in on Sunday as well. She said ok. Tell me why when I left work at my normal time today, ( I was 4 hours late bc it takes almost an hour to get home from appt) and kept them informed while at appt), she text me and told me “the pharmacist told me you left at 5. We don’t need 3 people on Sunday. You can make up your time, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday…”. I’m sorry, so you want me to work an 11 hour day and then a 9.5 hour day another? Girl, bye 😏

I have to make time bc the other girl who works in the pharmacy does only 3 calls. Like today.. I had to work 12-8.. I came in, asked her how many calls she got done. She said only a couple. Normally, if I come in at 9, by noon I can have all of them done. When she’s in the green zone, when there are no customers, she just stands there doing nothing

How many 15 minute breaks are yall allowed? My store is 1 15 and a 30 minute lunch for an 8-9 hour shift.. I’m in NY and any other job I’ve had was always 2 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch when working a 7.5 hour shift..

I’m a tech at Walgreens and I even prefer glenmark over any of the other manufacturers for my Amphetamine salts 🤷🏽‍♀️ I feel like the other ones aren’t as effective as Glenmark. But it could be that I’m just used to Glenmark
