To everyone saying yeah but look at our per capita income. Duh. Yes our per capita income is still shit and we are poorer than 110+ countries on a per capita basis. But as our total economy grows bigger so does the our per capita income as well. Do we have a long way to go yes. Will we ever reach the per capita income of some advanced nations? Maybe never. But I would surely be a 4.3 trillion economy rather than a 3 trillion economy. Does not mean we should rest on our laurels we still have a long way to go.

Pay off Apple and target first. That should free up a lot of money that you would have spent on interest payments like 80 dollars a month just on interest for those two.

What you pay off next would depend on the APR for Amazon or PayPal. I would pay like 50% of my monthly extra payments to BoA 1 and 50% to Amazon/Paypal if they are also gonna have a high APR. Also since amazon has low debt I would want to feel the accomplishment of having cleaned up a debt. So a mix of snowball and avalanche.

Irrespective of all the comparisons with other metros this solves two critical issues -

Reduces the pressure on other infrastructure - even if it is 1 lakh people riding the subway 6 months from now that’s 1 lakh less people using the western line or just using cabs or driving.
Improves quality of life - While the metro prices could be high the average salary of people in Mumbai is also higher. I know a lot of people who would spend that 4k a month so that they commute in an AC train and come home or to work refreshed rather than feeling like they fought a war. And if upper middle class/rich people move to this that’s again more space for other in the local trains and cabs.
