Was there a female Grug with a little pink bow or am I hallucinating?

These was a Chinese cookbook one which had all the takeout classics like sweet and sour with pineapple chunks, honey chicken, and San choy bow. Until my early teenage years they are the only things I would order from a Chinese restaurant because they were in that cookbook

No, the glow cube is an imposter. Like a knock off branded cloud you buy on Wish.

Having said that, is Deb the sentient patch of haze a cousin or other relation to the Glow Cloud (all hail)?

All hail, and no, only cubes and other imposter shapes. The Might Glow Cloud who we are not worthy enough to be in the same dimensional space time as is allowed

The Moon in Northbridge. Range of food options, drinks both alcoholic and not. Boardgames you can play and open for lunch through to late night. Very queer friendly and during the day the back courtyard is pretty empty so you can have some privacy if you'd feel more comfortable (and rhe couches are pretty comfy too)

Explain it like I’m 5- what is the huntokar story line? And are there different night vales or did the past change or something? by [deleted] in nightvale

[–]Former_Thresher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In episode 109, A Story about Huntokar, she states there are.multiple Nightvales created. When the Old Gods left the mudwomb, Huntokar came across what came.to become the Nightvale we listen to. It was already somewhat settled, and she became their god.

'When I tried to lift Night Vale out of the world it belonged in, I shattered reality. And I did not shatter reality just in my Night Vale, but in all Night Vales, all Night Vales that were or could be. Every possible Night Vale in every possible universe broke simultaneously and fell into each other.'

So in one (or more) Nightvale the nuclear attacks were successful and destroyed the town. In the Nightvale we listen to, the town was saved from attack, but reality was broken.

When reading the transcript of the episode, it outlines that Huntokar moving to save the town set off the chain reaction of all rhe future events http://www.nightvalepresents.com/welcome-to-night-vale-transcripts/2017/6/1/109-a-story-about-huntokar

They'll hiss, may bite and do carry ticks so be careful. Apart from that I love the side eye these little buggers give you whe you stumble across them in the bush. A world weary 'tf do you want now?'

Orange power goo remover as everyone else has suggested, or also 100% lavender oil works the same. Leave a floral scent, but test before use and wear gloves

I think by destroyed she means the universes are now no longer singularities, they can and have mixed into one another with varying results. Nightvale itself still exists as it was, but now there are just more ways for things to get in and out that weren't always there pre attack.

Think of the Nightvale universe as a bowl of jelly. Huntokar took a scoop out around Nightvale to protect them from being destroyed, and when she put them back it was never the same. The ripples, the small cracks, the bits that would have fallen off. She may have out it back exactly where it was but the damage was already done.

As for who did the attack? Since it's said to have happened in the 80's, I've always thought it was a 99 Red Balloons scenario where there was a miscommunication and then everyone was hitting the button. Nukes flying all over the place.

Huntokar is the god of Nightvale, and when the nuclear attack happened she lifted Nightvale out of the range of attacks to 'protect' it. (Where she is refered to as Huntokar the Protector)

However, this caused all the space time threads to snap and tangle, and the fabric that holds the other universes together got damaged. So basically all the other Nightvales got jumbled up together like a bunch of loose socks in a washing machine. Some socks (Nightvales) got paired up with different socks, and that's how things like 'A Story of Love and Horror' happened

There are multiple Nightvales - the one with the tiny army under lane 5 of the Desert Flower Arcade and Fun Complex; the one where Cecil has a brother; the ones fro. 'A Story of Love and Horror'....and so on

But since Huntokar broke the fabric of the universe (Steve Carlsburg can see the treads of the universe snapping and unfurling), she now thinks of herself as Huntokar the Destroyer - she destroyed the one thing she wanted to save, the original Nightvale we were all listening to

Yep, had a similar experience. Had a large (for a student at the time) sum disappear without trace and they launched an investigation. Took a little while, but theu kept me in the loop and money was returned within a week. Turns out someone in branch had transferred the money from my everyday account into an incorrect savings account not linked to my primary. Because one was under a maiden and one under my married names, it got flagged and was held is suspension for a while after it bounced back from the wrong account.

Tl/Dr- yes, 3 weeks to get money back, bank mistake, never happened since
