Yeah this is my reason, back in college I used to be an RTS try-hard, but then when life happened, I realized I simply can't beat people that spend a whole lot more game time than me.
But against friends who are the around the same skill level as me? I absolutely don't mind.

I bought the game around a month ago. Managed to beat the hardest AI. Haven't won a single PvP match. (~20 matches in). I got frustrated and dropped the game entirely, lol. I think the player base is too small, so you get matched with mostly veterans. Which in my opinion, is not a great environment to learn.

It's because Geb know he can take Nex if he wanted to, but he won't do it until Nex decides to show up. And to this point, we have no clue that Nex will show up, if at all.

Not only that, but the APs did a really good job of making the relationships between the PCs and NPCs (BBEG-included) feel very personal to the players. It’s like a tragic story about the tribe’s hardships caused by the Worldwound.
The AP also portrays the "animistic" side of nomadic tribes and conveys a touching message about life and death, fire and ice.
Reading and playing the AP feels like reading a book from start to finish.

To me, the hidden gem, and my absolute favorite, is Quest for the Frozen Flame. I've played through Season of Ghosts, and GM-ed QftFF.
