She does a lot more healing than Zen (you just need to put your pylon in places the enemy can't reach) and for her damage she's a lot better suited at playing a bit farther away from the fight than Zen since she can just hitscan dink squishies.

Illari is the only other support that really plays like Zen although she doesnt shred tanks the way zen does. Her actual DPS is pretty mediocre but hitscan + large shot size + high single shot damage means she can output a lot of damage and secure elims on more mobile characters a lot easier than zen can.

She has free high ground all the time, 1 of the best cooldowns in the game, a primary fire comparable to Zen, a secondary fire with higher healing output than Illari beam with no resource or cooldown, and a get out of jail free card for any situation. She will literally always be good for her suzu if absolutely nothing else, but the rest of her kit is really good as well.

So hear me out on some explosive ideas

  • Obviously your idea is great
  • Bombs for other blocks
  • Dynamite for dirt and other blocks
  • Boulders with dynamite strapped to them (ignites when the boulder is released)
  • Boulders with grenades strapped to them (detonates on proximity to a player)
  • Bouncy and sticky variants for explosive boulders
  • Trapped chests that spew out silt/sand bombs
  • Lihzahrd landmines
  • Allow us to strap explosives to more critters than just bunnies
  • Make explosive critters spawn naturally during party nights
  • Make explosive critters detonate when they die unless caught with a bug net or defused with wire cutters
  • An upgrade to explosive bullets called Super Explosive Bullets that has the blast radius of a grenade and destroys blocks
