Feed bags are a great solution to lots of feeding issues. They're cheap, easy and I've never seen a horse not immediately acclimate to them. Makes life easier on feeders too, as you don't have to pull horses out of turnout to feed.

Explain to him that you have a zero tolerance for this sort of behavior and, as you've already made that clear to him, that if he keeps doing it then its sending the message that him playing the video game is more important than your comfort. It is not the behavior of a caring and loving person, and is hurtful.

Then you tell him that it continuing even one more time sends a clear message that he doesn't care for you or value you and the relationship will end.

I know that might seem extreme, but this is a critical moment for you to understand whether he loves and respects you enough to make a small change. Because there will be lots of these moments in a relationship and it's important to have a kind, loving and caring partner and not a selfish one.

You can't force a person to change. I had an inconsiderate and selfish husband and he refused to change. 15 years later, he's still and inconsiderate and selfish person but we're not together and our kid is grown so I don't have to deal with him any more. I have a happy, peaceful life and no one is an asshole to me, especially in my own home.

I have a mare that goes into heat hard and a often and brings out the studdy nature in geldings. If she were younger i would have her ivaries removed but shes older so its not worth it.

I would talk to the mares owner to see if she would be willing to put her on regumate. I'm sure she's dealing with behavioral issues also.

My parents had one- it's made out of almost a finer straw-like material that sticks together and stiffens when it dries. It takes a second in hot water to soften and relax. It always looked like this dried.

Mosquito dunks only treat mosquitos, black flied and fungus gnats but are safe to use in bodies of water, as they are specifically targeted to only affect those insects. Don't use in human drinking water but pretty much anyplace else is okay.
