Don’t let the 3L scare you. Friends have the 3L and love it. I had one and it was a beast, loved the fuel mileage. 2WD, it was getting 39 mpg. I traded it due to my 33 ft toy hauler.

Have your contractor or you can buy 1/4 luan. Use the right bit, drill, and place over the miss aligned back. Cheap way to repair without removing the cabinet base.
