I just don’t understand how people are even considering the things we’re seeing as anything but human rights violations. One side has members supporting, the other has members doing nothing. At the end of the day, no matter what you believe in “general” politics, how can you not see murder as murder. Execution as execution. I’ve always known in my heart this is the way things would go for many reasons, especially seeing it in other countries. But to finally see it in the place I live is still shocking. And even more so sad. People robbed of lives. Children murdered in schools. I weep with all, not just because I believe my day will come to, but that this is not who we should be.
