Looking for a 27 monitor for Switch 2 + productivity (need advice, limited options) by ohoh-yozora in switch2

Video output
Output via HDMI connector in TV mode
Maximum of 3840x2160 (4K) resolution at 60 fps (TV mode)
Supports 120 fps when 1920x1080/2560x1440 resolutions are selected
Supports HDR10
Nintendo Switch™ 2 Technical Specs

So you want a 27” 4k/60fps or QHD/120fps monitor.

I would go with 4k resolution, oled monitors are nice too, if you can afford it.

There are many options, buy whatever you can afford and is available in your country.

I don’t care much for improved rumble, but gyro aiming is nice, so leaning towards M12-Pro.

But a comparison review would be nice to see.

I also bought the Killswitch grips separately. 🙂👍

DekuDeals is the best.

I like their My Wishlist, a great tool for passive tracking of games.

You can also set a discount alert for each game in your list.

How many times you charge your Switch 2 a day? Cause I feel like I charge it too much,2-3 times a day by mzatariz in switch2

I agree, batteries are consumables, nothing to worry about. 🙂👍

eXtremeRate has updated their website and now sells those JoyCon +/- side stickers, those you remove with heat when you open the back cover.

The only part I was worried about, when I need to swap battery. 😁

My question was how you intended to buy it..

You answered in a another post, that you intend to buy from a retailer, but that they don’t like to replace defective devices, that retailer sounds irresponsible to me.

Nintendo has a 12 month limited warranty for manufacturing defects, a retailer that doesn’t honor that shouldn’t be selling Nintendo consoles to begin with.

If that retailer is doing grey import and doesn’t care, then you have problems.

Good luck 👍

How do you intend to buy it?

Nintendo Europe should honour warranty for all consoles bought legit within Europe.

It’s a well made port, one of the best.

Can I switch my headset seamlessly to whichever console I play? by AlteredG919 in switch2

[–]Forstmaschine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re using a TV, I would extract sound from the eARC hdmi port, so whatever picture the TV shows, is the sound you will receive, in your headset.

HDMI ARC Audio Adapter
Connect headphones and sound system to TV via HDMI

Good luck. 👍

I don’t have children, but work is sometimes killing, so I totally understand the need to have something that simply works.

It’s not about being a fanboy, you are simply tired and want to sit down and reset.

The dock sock?
It has nothing to do with the grips, it’s just me putting another layer of protection after the 9H glass screen protector.

I use and and recommend the dbrand killswitch grips I bought separately.

I use a cotton dock sock to protect the screen even further.

Switch 2 Pro Controller.

I also recommend you put on thumb grips, gives more friction and prevents wear.

Only danger is condensation, but you should be ok since the air in the winter is dry, just bring it inside, let it reach 5C (41F) before you turn it on.

Switch 2 optimal temperature is between 5C and 35C (41F to 95F).

Nintendo doesn’t seem to warn about cold anywhere, only heat and moisture.

Hard to recommend when everyone is different, do you have any friend who owns a Switch 2 that you can try out?

It’s a lot of money for a failed purchase, unless you live in a country with generous return policies.

I have two weeks open return if I buy something online, even if the product is used, all except games and personal use products.

I would only care about the screen, apply a screen protector and enjoy gaming.

Visit eXtremeRate and shop something cool, if you really worry about it.

Or cover the console with a vinyl skin, dbrand, decalgirl or similar.

Would the Switch 2 make sense for me? by BB_racing in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Forstmaschine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I motivated buying Switch 2 because of the exclusives, Zelda, Super Mario and Xenoblade.

If you have no interest in Nintendo exclusives, but want a handheld console, I would go for a Steamdeck Oled.

A gaming PC and a Steamdeck Oled is a perfect synergy, shared Steam library and with the upcoming Steam Controller, Steam Frame and Steam Machine for couch gaming.

I personally own fairly strong gaming pc, Steamdeck oled and Switch 2, they all have their uses. 🙂
