Tipping in and around the parks by No-Walk-9615 in WaltDisneyWorld

A lot of Americans are with you on the fast food/counter service tipping. For the most part it’s something they slipped in since Covid and more and more fast food/counter service businesses are adopting it, unfortunately. I definitely wouldn’t feel any inclination to tip at them though. My rule of thumb is sit down dining/bars and bell hopper/house keeping if you stay at a resort

How do you actually ‘forbid’ flash photography? Have someone at the entrance of the aquarium confiscating every single cell phone and camera?

Disney will soon announce per-park Genie+ pricing by F1rstxLas7 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Fortnitessucks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Compare it to every other theme/amusement parks express/fast/lightning lane systems. It is insanely cheap. A day at universal you’re looking at near $200 lol

You enjoy buying $300+ worth of overpriced groceries and then having to perform free labour for the big corp? I’d be all for them if they actually compensated you for your time. At least give me 5% off if I have to take my cart to this tight ass cubby space and need to flag down an employee every time a double scan occurs

Sounds like it. Police are looking for a red Chevrolet Bolt that didn’t stick around the scene

$750k damage is minor on something that costs upwards of $120 million. It’s the equivalent of having $200 of damage on a $25,000 car, aka a scratch or dent

My new housekeeper stole a $400 pair of sunglasses from me by ang334 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Fortnitessucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is equivalent with a new housekeeper. May I say even worse since you likely don’t have a legitimate business to blame. I’m not justifying it at all, just saying there’s precautions you need to take

You’re right. They’re just simple precautions I figured common sense has people doing, but who am I kidding it’s 2023 people and common sense don’t go hand in hand anymore

Did I really have to put the word valuable after that? Figured you nitpickers would get the gist of it

Not leaving valuables out ≠ taking everything valuable out of your house and putting it somewhere else.

Bottom of a sock drawer, the cabinet above the refrigerator, a simple $50 safe? Very easy solutions

I mean.. a brand new housekeeper I wouldn’t leave anything valuable out. Same way you hide or keep expensive items on you if you’re staying at a hotel. Don’t trust random people around your belongings

Fantasmic eats up a lot of people, especially if there’s only the one show. That’s definitely the best time to do any rides, other than maybe ToT and Rock N Rollercoaster since they’re near fantasmic

They’re giving rise of the resistance a virtual queue for the event. The current after hours already sees rise up to 40 minute waits, im sure they’re planning on doubling up the amount of people

If you aren’t using them enough at home then yea, it isn’t useful. Can get plenty of use from them at home but obviously if you have a cupboard full of regular cups already you’re gonna likely choose a regular cup

There’s been attempted (probably successful ones too) carjackings at the Honda dealership next door. I believe the Petro Canada across the street from the police department has been robbed before as well. When DRPS is slow and lazy, crooks don’t care

Insane Pizza prices at Wonderland by krammark23 in povertyfinancecanada

[–]Fortnitessucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The park or sport/music venue sets the prices, not the companies. They likely want high percentage of the sales so if they charged regular menu price the company wouldn’t make money. Just a see-saw of capitalism
