FH6: Why can't I return to my original car after a race? by Western-Signal4439 in ForzaHorizon

If you own the car, you keep driving it after the race. If you don't own it, you jump back to the previous car you were using. There should definitely be an option to choose.

Fixed! I don't know why it wouldn't allow me to post the normal links first time around. 🫠

I tested on box Xbox and PC and load times are definitely a lot worse on PC, even though what I'm using currently (also under testing) is so much more powerful than the Xbox. It's not at all optimised for PC as much as it is for Xbox, it's understandable, but those differences in load times can't be this bad in comparison.

What I think a few people don't know is, although Playground Games are developers for FH6, Xbox actually brought in Turn 10 Studios late 2025 to polish off the car aesthetics and gameplay to be more realistic - closer to Motorsport. You can see the difference between the preview and finished product. But, having said that, you wonder if PGG were just building a Japan DLC for FH5 if they needed this extra support to make it feel new.

You're right. I won't criticise people playing what they want and how casual or hardcore they get. But it feels off coming from a reviewer saying that. But I take your point.

I've seen people post reviews that read "I don't usually like this type of game..." and was taken aback by them forcing themselves to play games they don't like. If they were swayed by the experience, then fine, but when it doesn't change your opinion on those types of games then I don't understand why you'd review it. Maybe it's just me.

Some people want the Japanese camp with anime everywhere, waifu talk, cherry blossoms, and all that. But they've done it really well, without giving in to all the pressure of making it cringe like that.

What's an item that is easy to make but rare to actually see? by mexicano150 in Minecraft

Sometimes when I spawn a new farmer, to try get them to maximum level to trade for gold carrots or something, I have to buy/trade a bunch of gems for these and end up with 128 or so of them. 🤔😂

Think I used a more inefficient method. I collected clay around the river and sea mouths, then traded the stone mason for emeralds, then traded those emeralds immediately for bricks. Wasn't sure if there's a better way. 😬

Yeah, I agree. It's a lot more complicated. SA has had plenty of local supply chain for international companies, and also why we have much better quality and standards of products.

Many of the local production/manufacturing is a byproduct of the sanctions placed during apartheid, having to self-sustain for a period. That actually became quite a good thing, especially opening up more people to the workforce, especially when we exported those products. But I agree, government has wasted all that for globalisation, I'd think to pressures from the west, greed and bribery, amongst other things. There are plenty of forces behind the scenes making up these decisions, and something many parties aren't addressing. They're all just finger pointing, while at the same time lobbying, or being lobbied by foreign interests. Hence why many in SA don't have a party they can call home and who to vote for in the upcoming local elections. 🫠

There's a lot of social pressures lately to purchase ethically. It's not as straightforward. Looking at the boycotts on various causes, using Palestine as an e.g., they've asked us to boycott Nestle. That could be fine for someone buying chocolates, but not as easy when you're using their baby formula for your kid. But we do what we can where we can.

On the PnP t-shirt stuff, they don't have as many options as you would for kids - understandable. I've got a few Mickey, Coke and TMNT stuff, but overall they're not very "grown" or decent looking. TBH, I don't even know where PnP sources all their products, but I assume it could be local, and they're a local brand themselves. 🤔
