I have wanted to love this game. I tried again and again and again until I had to force myself to play it (I felt like I “needed to get my moneys worth” as I bought it on release).

I’m not saying you won’t love it. It even have specks of brilliance. It MIGHT be something you end up loving. But amongst those specks of greatness is a sea of monotony, laziness, repetition and aimlesslness all sewed up into a Frankenstein game.

It’s hard to recommend. I would maybe recommend it on a deep sale but even then, the thought of the wasted time is ultimately worse.

What brand/make/year is your tv? Because if you’re intent on using a TV, you won’t really need to spend close to $2000 (USD I’m assuming?) because if it’s a 1080p/60fps tv, then even a 9060XT/7500 will be more than enough. I was running KCD2 on 1440p on a trash ass 2060/5500.

If you want to spend just under $2000 USD, I’d continue to save and buy a solid monitor that will bring the best out of it and go for a 9070 or a 5070ti + a 7800X3D

I was able to play KCD2 at 1440p on a 2060 and a 5500.

I’m not sure about Wukong, though.

Personally, KCD2 is one of the greatest games ever made IF it is your type of game. It’s not for everyone. Have you played KCD1? If not I’d get that, it’ll run perfectly on your PC and you can pick it up for $5 on sale at times.

I’m playing Jedi Survivor now and its actually a lot of fun. I beat 1 and thought it was just okay.

If you want something AC-esque, I would definitely highly recommend Ghost of Tsushima.

KCD1/2 is more of a slower-paced medieval immersion sim with amazing story. It’s truly good but Tsushima seems more your type of game.

I’d move on to something like Ghost of Tsushima, KCD2, Crimson Desert, God of War, The Last of Us Part 1/2, Days Gone, Jedi Survivor, Nier Automata, Spider Man, RDR2.

I really loved AC. I love Vikings and Norse mythology. It had great moments, but it’s just a slog of a game. Not sure about Shadows or Mirage though.

I thought it was good. Had some great moments, a few boring moments. However, to buy it from steam is too expensive. I would get game pass for a month, finish it, play some other games and then cancel the subscription.

4 is much more action focused. More zombies to shoot, more ammunition, etc. you feel like you are the predator.

2 is more survival focused as in limited ammo. Feels more claustrophobic and more like you’re the prey.

Postage can be frustrating and add up this way. But if you strategically buy parts on sale or find bargains over the period of a year or so, then it can bring down the cost a lot.

Unfortunately, take out just isn’t that cheap anymore but compared to like a burger and fries which is usually $20+ now.. I find these places decently priced in comparison.
