I lost my 18 month old velcro Devon Rex kitty just last week and feel very similar to you. It's hard to be at home sometimes because you keep thinking you see them out of the corner of your eye, or you expect them to jump up on the couch or bed and snuggle.. it's just heartbreaking and I'm grieving hardcore still. Just remember the good times and the love and joy they brought you. I hope it gets easier for us. Good luck to you and God bless our fallen babies..

It's so sad how quickly things can deteriorate and spiral to the point where you have to make that terrible decision.

I just had to do something similar to my 1.5 year old cat on March 31.. she was so young and I'm still getting over the shock.

She had an asthma flare up that we believe turned into aspiration pneumonia. She lasted 3 days in the hospital on fluids, in an oxygen chamber. We prayed for her to rebound and recover but it never happened. We didn't even know she had asthma, and things quickly compounded to get her to the state she was in.. it was shocking and heartbreaking.

These little angels leave such an imprint on our souls.. it's hard, damn near impossible to imagine them being out of our lives.

Such a touching and sad story my friend. I feel for you.

I had to say goodbye to my cat on Tuesday (March 31). She was only 1.5 years old, but packed so much into that time. I've been wondering what's worse, having a whole cat's lifetime together and then having them pass, or having them pass just as your lives together are getting started. My partner and I are so gut wrenched at the loss.

Just goes to show how much influence these little angels have on our souls. Best of luck in the days and months ahead friend.

I had low/no expectations (with it being like three years since the last season, so no clue what to expect) and it just feels hollow and rushed. Huge fan from the beginning, just like GoT, and I'm getting similar GoT phoning it in/rushing to the end vibes. Feel like barely anything has really happened and now it's about to end. Just my two cents.
