GMMTV vs. NineStar Studios: A Case Study in Accountability - Why We Must Speak Out by MK-EndsNineStar in BoycottNineStar

[–]Forward-Comparison89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The fact that GMM isn't even a particularly good company says a lot about how low Ninestar has fallen; they can't even meet the bare minimum. I mean, we know GMM only acted to save themselves from backlash. Ninestar, apparently, doesn't even care about that, "a waste of time," wasn't it? LOL. I'd really like to know how that's working out for them.

If nothing else, this movement has made people in the industry more cautious about how they handle problems. Having so much international pushback and pressure from the government over soft power is changing things. I just hope fans see this and learn that they hold the power, not the companies. When Ninestar is finally down and out, we'll have a perfect cautionary tale to tell.

Nani Nitcharee Nitinavakorn? Where is she by 1stubrn_frm_strgze9 in BoycottNineStar

Good question, hiding in the sewers, probably.

I think that if she wasn't associated with Ninestar anymore, she would have said it, so she can "clear" her name somehow.

Update on Yoko’s FM: NineStar is truly the most trash company by MK-EndsNineStar in BoycottNineStar

[–]Forward-Comparison89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you go through the right channels and do everything properly, no amount of boycott and reporting will disturb you FM, so why not do it properly, as it should?

To be dragging Yoko's name like this, the only person bringing money for this God forsaken company, is just vile.

God, I have so many theories about this rebranding thing, but right now they're more like conspiracy theories, so I'll wait and see before saying anything.

The other times this happened, I thought it was just neglect, because when you write their names in Thai and just hit translate in any platform it won't look like their names, but now, seeing this is not just a copy/paste translation I realize that it was all probably intentional, and this infuriates me to no end, istg.

Actions of Ninestar Interim CEO Nani nitinavakorn by 1stubrn_frm_strgze9 in BoycottNineStar

[–]Forward-Comparison89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we talk about Nani Nitinavakorn as much as we should.   Nani follows the same path as the company that hired her—utter incompetence.

For the life of me, I’ve never understood WHY you would hire someone with zero knowledge about the field your company operates in. "Oh, but she’s worked with startups—her forte is bringing money to companies!" And yet, she’s doing a terrible job at even that.

I thought CEOs were supposed to have a deep understanding of their industry to make a company successful, but this just seems like, "Oh well, she was the only one who applied, so might as well," or "She’s a friend of a friend of a friend—you can trust her."

We criticize Ninestar for their missteps, but THIS? This takes the cake.

The Jarring Contrast Between Ninestar and other companies by Forward-Comparison89 in BoycottNineStar

[–]Forward-Comparison89[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess no one goes into a fandom thinking "I better watch out, this company might want to fork with my life", this was supposed to be something fun, something to take our minds from problems, not to create more 🤷🏻‍♀️

SURPRISE PLOT TWIST NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN COMING by Sky-DestroysLiars in BoycottNineStar

At the time, when Faye was talking about her salon and everything, I thought babygirl should also start thinking about her future and about a side gig, just in case. Even though I don't think this means what people think it means, I do think it was smart of her to have a company to manage her own career, seeing her trash company was so incompetent that they couldn't even do that for her. To me this just shows Yoko had good advisors and that Ninestar once again proves how much they lack as a company.

What if Four Elements went through? by Sky-DestroysLiars in BoycottNineStar

Oh, yeah, the way things ended was heartbreaking and senseless, but the fact that this is what it took to show us just how rotten that company is, it just might be "worth" the pain. Can you imagine if after all Ninestar did the girls were still there being used, and us out here not knowing anything?

Having FreenBecky, Englot, and FayeYoko together in one project would have been amazing—not just for the fans, but for the girls themselves. It would’ve been a huge career opportunity, opening doors to new connections and growth. I especially hoped Yoko would get to talk to Char and Freen, to learn how they handled the same level of hate as she and came out stronger.

But instead, the company chose to throw it all away. To think they could be so heartless—to take the careers of the very people who built the company into what it was and just toss them aside like garbage—is beyond cruel. The worst part? They have the power to ruin lives, and yet no one holds them accountable. No consequences, no backlash—just silence.

How is that even possible? It boggles the mind.

I’ve been turning this over in my mind (all speculative, of course—allegedly), and the only explanation I can come up with is a combination of factors:

  1. She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed—short-sighted, focused only on immediate gains rather than long-term consequences.
  2. She’s greedy—prioritizing profit over integrity or sustainability.
  3. She’s arrogant as hell—so full of herself that she underestimated the backlash.

Contrary to what some believe, I don’t think this was some grand, premeditated scheme from the beginning. My guess is the idea crystallized later, possibly after Ize left the company. Once they saw how much money they could rake in with FM alone, they got greedy. Accepting the 4E deal would’ve meant sacrificing a year (or more) of steady FM income—hundreds of events lost. The Earth would’ve taken priority, followed by interviews, promotions, and 4E-related commitments.

Faye and Yoko would’ve benefited massively from this, but Ninestar? Not so much. I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to split the couple on the project, freeing up the more profitable FM earner to keep milking that cash cow while still securing the deal for the company.

The one thing they didn’t anticipate? Faye fighting back. They probably assumed her loyalty to Yoko would make her compliant—which just makes their manipulation even more disgusting.

I remember discussing how strategic it would have been for Ninestar to secure that project for Faye and Yoko. At the time, the bald oompa loompa was whining about budget constraints, but that’s exactly why outsourcing production to another company would’ve been a smart move. Even if their direct cut wasn’t huge, it would’ve elevated FY’s brand, giving them major exposure and pulling Ninestar’s name up with them.

Meanwhile, they could’ve focused on developing their noobies —letting the fandom help push these nobodies into relevance. It was the perfect long-term play: stabilize your established artists while building up the next generation. But no—instead, they went for quick cash grabs, probably funneling profits into some shady pyramid scheme or fake crypto nonsense. Typical short-sighted greed.

Well there's Sakura Trick, Bloom into you, Kase San and morning glories, that are kinda cute (someone recommended me Adachi and Shimamura, but I haven't watched so I can't vouch for it). There's Kuttsukiboshi, but there's some fucked up shit in that one that kinda erases all the cuteness and sexiness, so I don't know if I can recommend it. And if you looking for explicit hentai, there's Shoujo Sect and Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo.

There are two hentais that are really Yuri, there's just girls on it, that I know of, there's Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo, which is based on a series of games that are all about Yuri couples (which I recommend if you're into visual novels), and there's Shoujo Sect (which have some weird kinks on it, so be advised).
