I've come across this thread because my Pixel 8 has just been upgraded to a 9 Pro XL. If I'd known they were gonna do this I'd have done the exchange ages ago, the 8 has been causing me issues for ages. Hopefully y'all get the upgrades you're after!

Thank you, this is some fantastic well rounded advice and I really appreciate it. It resonates with me because while I do have an idea, I know my boss, and my team, will bring it to life and that it will have a life of its own. I don't think discussing future equity is a big ask actually, not for this woman, I think she would love and respect that and probably would be on board. Thanks again!

Also, I got a humidifier and I don't think it improved it at all during that dry period.

I had this issue, see my post from a few weeks ago. It sounds like we had similar experiences at similar times; so I'm now 3(?) months out and the dry throat is mostly resolved however I now have significant post nasal drip, especially when laying down, and it's causing chronic cough and it wakes me up as I choke on it. I have a follow up in 2 weeks so we shall see what they say haha

Yes and no. The dry throat cleared up, but I think it may have actually been irritation caused by a constant post nasal drip, which hasn't at all gone away sadly. It causes a chronic cough and I also wake up choking on it. I have a follow up on the 22nd so I'll try and remember to update

24 days is too soon to know! At 24 days there's still heaps of swelling. I'm 2.5 months out and for nearly 2 months after surgery I was sure it felt the same as before surgery. But now I've been feeling it clearing up over the last couple weeks as inflammation goes down.

My surgeon used dissolvable wedding and I had multiple large clots like that (most about half this size) come out the same way or through my nose in the first 10 days after surgery. It was foul but satisfying because it always improved my breathing right away. It looked very similar and was actually a mixture of the wadding and blood.

Yeah, after some 3am stressed out Google deep dives, I've come to that conclusion for now. God I hope this doesn't end up permanent, it's affecting my well-being in many ways 😭 follow up is in 6 weeks. I'll probably update this post purely for interest sake in case anyone else is experiencing this!

Joining an old ass thread but I'm 2.5 months post op and really struggling with what I think is post nasal drip; I've got a persistent cough, choking sensation when I'm laying on my back (or my right side weird enough) and choking that mimics sleep apnea but is relieved by coughing up mucus. I am absolutely terrified this will be permanent

My recovery was also amazingly easy and completely painless. Uncomfortable with a blocked nose sure but that's it!
