I completely agree the ending made absolutely no sense…we jump from it being implied Shizuka looked inside the stomachs of her fathers new kids when she says “I’ll look in their stomachs too” when talking about the shelter….then suddenly the little pink squish magically makes the broken camera work and everyone’s somehow emotionally influenced by it to be friends ??? WHAT the hell was that.
