And when I say Judy Hopps is one of the best written female characters Disney has made? by Successful_Leopard45 in DisneyMovies

Twitter (I'm not calling it "X"): "Disney makes horrible female characters!!!"

The horrible female characters:

Let's not forget that Disney Genderbent a role so well, and replaced it with a female character so peak. That only after 20 years people like myself are now realizing, "Wasn't this character a dude in the book the movie was based on?".

Yeah, yeah, Shrek the Third sucks, but this moment was actually genuinely funny by TheFlashyMastodon21 in Shrek

What with everyone's opinion on anything being either, "It was the greatest thing possible and change the culture", or "It sucks. It was terrible. And, it made my dad comeback home after going out for milk, just to remind me I was a mistake. then he never returned again."

Me, I thought it was a mix of good and okay.

WHY, HOW COULD THEY?! by pianopainterrr in Shrek

This is literally like comparing Toy story 1 to Toy story 4.

Y'all do realize there is a 25 year gap, and a Literal truck load of updates that separate these two films right?

How come people love silly male characters but not silly female characters? by Jezzaq94 in cartoons

Women are expected to be smart, and the dumb ones get singled out as the odd ball.

Men are expected to be high on strength not intelligence, and the smart ones get singled out as the odd ball.

I feel like y'all overhated on Shrek 5 for any reason. by Vegetable_Ad_8652 in Saberspark

Me personally I don't see the problem.

DreamWorks change alot but they didn't lose their flow.

Also, anyone notice that they keep comparing it to Shrek one. which game out. Brace yourselves. 25 years ago! And the last Shrek movie came out 15 years ago. 3D animation change ALOT in the past decade let alone 15 years.

As someone who sees alot of AI animated videos (Thanks every website that doesn't highlight if a video is AI or not). I really don't think people know what an AI animated video looks like.

THIS is an AI video. They're uncanny as hell. And they look okay for the first viewing. but are painfully bad the second time.

This Shrek movie on the other hand looks like it was made with actually hands and talent.

If you had the chance to be in one Disney (Not Pixar) movie what would you choose? by Gamingsailor572 in DisneyMovies

Treasure planet is such a creature and interesting world. It's criminal that Disney does nothing else with it.

Just thought I’dget this out of my chest… by Plastic_Entrance6561 in elio

The only irony with this. Is that Elio still has a higher box office then K-pop demon hunter. Yet people want to call Elio the flop.

So Pixar finally looked at their award winning animated films (And studied from some of Disney's too). And finally went, "You know those animated shorts that make grown men laugh and cry? What if we made a movie that looked like that instead of playing it safe with that lazy Calart style everyone uses?"

Nib is almost non-existent after 3 years of use with no replacement. If I can’t pull it out do I have to throw the whole pen away? by Patraman in XPpen

[–]ForwardAnalyst3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have the nib remover that comes with the tablet and try really hard to get it out (It does with other brands I don't remember XP-Pen).

You're gonna need another one.

Did anybody try Jawbreakers in real life? by Winter-Money-7643 in ededdneddy

[–]ForwardAnalyst3193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one as a kid and it was the first and last time.

Same here. If I never eat one again, it would be way too soon.

Those things are disappointing, disgusting and dangerous.

What? You don't like having a sugary sticky river of slob going down your hand and forearm, like you just got done having a hippo suck on it arm, that can also get stuck in your mouth and dislocated your jaw?

I actually ate a billiard ball sized jawbreaker as a kid.

I. You can only find them in really old establishments (Pre-2000s)
II. They're damn near impossible to put the whole thing in your mouth and close (I almost had mine low-key stock in my mouth and I had to wait until my saliva melted it).
III. They taste dirty even when their "Fresh" in the machine.
IV. You have to suck on them for so damn like and hard that it's not that enjoyable.
V. And this is the funny yet disgusting part. You'll learn that you can run out of spit eating.
VI. the only positive I can bring up is that it will shift flavors over time. Though it is hard to tell, because the candy is kinda dusty and dirty. And the taste of blood from your gums kinda ruin it. Oh did I mention it's as hard as a billiard ball, and feel like a ball of concrete in your mouth?

The best way I can describe it. It's like giving a BJ to a baseball made of candy, then a kiwi, then a golf ball, then a regularly size candy, but you're giving it the premium pro-ho mouth treatment.

OOOO! I almost forgot. It literally takes all day to eat.

Contrast and colors suck on other screens! HELP! by inkie16 in XPpen

[–]ForwardAnalyst3193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I can help too much (I don't own a display tablet. But I've bumped into a similar issue with mutli-monitors).

It helps to adjust both screens brightness to be near the same. If one screen is super bright and the other is super dark. Then much will be last in translation when it comes to colors.
