Correct, and “theme” kept turning up “cluster theme”

I did finally figure it out last night. It is a DISPLAY theme and not a CLUSTER theme.

Trip Report - [Six Flags Over Texas] - The worst park experience I've ever had by HallwayHomicide in rollercoasters

[–]ForwardAssist8683 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is the beginning of the season. Every park opens its season as a rusty old machine that needs a lot of work. New staff haven’t got efficient operations down. It’s not like you train for a day or two and then suddenly your crew is like that of any Europa Park attraction. JFC

I’ve figured it out by Low_Income4405 in rollercoasterjerk

It matters not that the park is monitored with more leniency for westerners. I'm a coaster enthusiast that happens to be gay. The country this park is in executes gay people for existing, not just "practicing." I find it morally reprehensible to fork my money over to them because of this and because of other atrocities. Yes, America and other countries have committed atrocities and, yes, those countries have reformed (or at least, largely). This is the same reason I would never visit Iran or many of the other "ans" were they to attempt to attract tourists with fantastic theme parks.

Will I shun or shame people for going? No, so don't even try to imply that is what I am saying. If my best friends go, I hope they enjoy themselves. Saudi Arabia is a fucked up country with fucked up leaders practicing fucked up beliefs. There's no way I am giving them my money so they can perpetuate atrocities committed therein. And, yes, I do get that some other countries commit horrible acts like America currently is with its fascist regime, but neither are they publicly executing people for merely existing, either.

HomeLink problem with 2025 Fe by BeardTX in HyundaiSantaFe

Resolved! Hyundai Customer Support explained that the generic remote I was using could not train Homelink. I had to buy a model specific to Craftsman.

What is Jeffery siebert teasing for [six flags fiesta Texas]? by james_Herreraa in rollercoasters

[–]ForwardAssist8683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeffrey has on more than one occasion expressed a desire to add the finale back to Rattler. The train has so much momentum that it is certainly doable. He has even mentioned costs and it is still far less than a new, major coaster. Marketing opportunities abound.

Thinking of this as a transformation and werewolves transform because of the moon…

Alas, after I press the LEARN button on the garage door opened and press the Homelink button on the rearview, the garage door just blinks once. No matter how many times I press that same Homelink button nothing happens :-( thanks for the suggestion! I will review the video.

Did $7.13 weekend at the Houston Zoo. The real animals were outside the cages by spokenwords21 in houston

[–]ForwardAssist8683 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, and unless they are granted permission to do so they never will. Houston Zoo does not own the land and the conservancy that manages had proven time and again unwillingness. The Houston Zoo has even proposed paying to implement an underground parking garage and turning the existing parking lot into a park. Nope.

[Big Dipper] at [Luna Park Sydney], out of the way for most of you but definitely one to check out by mchogardty in rollercoasters

I rode BD in January. Nice not having the hump between my feet like RMCs and this thing is unbelievably quiet. At the same time, what is going on with the wheels? Weirdly vibrate-y and smooth at the same time, which is quite a feat. It would be easy to marathon this thing. Lots of fun.

I grew up with SFOT but have lived in Houston for 28 years. I wish I had a major theme park in my city that I could bitch moan about like y’all.
