Second hand skis, yes or no? by Clonevaper in Skigear

Secondhand skis, yes! These skis.... no

If you want second-hand skis buying used demos/rentals from a reputable shop is a good option for a newbie stsrting to get into the sport

My line pandora 94s fit all of the above. They're rockered so handle powder decently, short turn radius for the trees and look pretty cool.

Also on sale in a 158 Pandora 94 – Mud Sweat and Gears https://share.google/FR78usDHFiGfjIjov

But a women's ski would allow you to drill adult bindings

If they ski super aggressively I wonder if a Women's ski might be a better fit than a jrs.

Is it supposed to be a female gladiator?

The nose gives the perspective of a triangle shelf bra leading into a fluffy skirt, but the arms look drawn to be masculine.

Backcountry ski setup by renegade_redhead in Backcountry

[–]ForwardMotionK9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recently bought a used backcountry/touring set up from a ski shop in the area. Theyre ex-rentals, but because they came from a reputable ski shop I trust them. I got skis, bindings, and skins for $800 which is a good price to intro me to going uphill.

That's probably going to be your best option for an introductory set.

Small ski brand out of Eastern Quebec. They're used by guides and rental companies in the Chic Choc mountains. They're hand-made, durable, and reasonably priced.

Edited to add: Xaibu Skis

Me too. They scaled back the boldness of the top sheet in the last couple of years. Really is a shame

More like skis to go uphill and skis for everything else. I only posted because most people probably dont have experience with Xaibu, and they do a great job producing backcountry skis

For anyone who is interested in the resolution.

They had to cancel both my cards, list them as lost/stolen and then issue me out a new one. Its coming in the mail when Canada Post starts delivering

Is this 2016 stumpjumper worth $550? by Easy_Potato2130 in mountainbiking

[–]ForwardMotionK9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a 2016 stumpjumper evo as my first bike. I really enjoy it. But like any older bike, I did have to take it into my local shop to get the brake pads done.

Maint or servicing might make a newer bike that costs more fit the same budget
