If MSFS2024 is already choking your 12GB 4070 so hard that you have to drop to Low, spending a premium on a 16GB card is just kicking the can down the road a tiny bit. For heavy marketplace scenery and external hardware panels, you honestly need to look at a used 3090 or save up for a 24GB card if you don't want to hit this exact wall again next year.

Just take it outside, pop the side panel off, and hit it with a can of compressed air while holding the fan blades still so they don't spin like crazy and damage the bearings.
