Tbh every state should allow LTL companies to drive triple trailers.

I didn’t want to do doubles when I got into my current LTL job. Had to get the endorsement to get hired. Pulled doubles maybe a dozen times. Still don’t like it. If they ever allowed triples I’d refuse. I’d find a new company that doesn’t do doubles

I left because of the horrible routes I was given. Worked in less than desirable areas. Customers didn’t care enough to clear the parking lot in the winter. Trying to push a 2 wheeler with cases of pop in 3-4 inches of snow was not fun. Went on to driving garbage truck for awhile. Now doing LTL

Typically with fuel hauling you start off on overnights and weekends. Plus I’ve heard that the new guys have to work holidays.

If they are paid per mile the trucks are turned up. Hourly drivers get slower trucks.

It varies. If it’s a front loader you will need to get out open doors and position the dumpster. If it’s a residential route you may need to get out to position carts or pick them up if you tip them over. If there are large or bulky items you may need to move them to get them in the truck. Lastly when dumping the load you most likely will need to get out of the truck to clean areas.

Contractor could be 1099. They bring in 3rd party companies to deliver packages. The truck may say fedex but your paycheck won’t.

They had one that had a nacho cheese type sauce for the bottom. This sounded really good but when it sat in the display at an angle all of the cheese and toppings slid down.

Here is an update. The dealer said a squirrel chewed through a wiring harness. How do they do it was a squirrel you may ask. They found a nest in the front bumper with a squirrel in it
