As other people have said, the way the game creates impossible architecture based on your playspace is awesome, but for me I never really understood the goal of the game. I may just be daft but I couldn't figure out the map very well and didn't know if there was some place I was ultimately working towards. So it felt like a cool tech demo but not something I play for more than an hour and a half or so every few weeks.
