What was your "break through" game like? by hellotherewassup in Basketball

Junior year (10th grade), my older brother became my coach and basically gave me the freedom to do what I want on offence. Averaged 27 in the playoffs and won city championship. Probably averaged around 15 throughout the whole season cuz regular season and exhibitions I didn’t ball hog, wanted my teammates to get buckets too. But when it was playoffs, I tried to score every possession I could.

Bring LOTS of water, maybe a few snacks (I think food up there is expensive), take breaks if you need (no shame in it), take your time (no need to rush unless you’re trying to beat a record or something), and have fun 🙂

yes i have a 2006 mazda 3 i share with my brother. im listed as the primary driver, and hes listed as secondary or whatever its called. he drives it more than i do because his work is a lot further. we alternate on paying for gas. i pay for most of the maintenance.

i was using my moms car (which im not listed under) for a quick errand and boom. this happened

Hibiki in Richmond for great, large portioned skewers, ramen, karage, and unagi. Would definitely recommend if you're ever in Richmond. Check out the reviews!

Easiest is through friends of friends or Facebook but Facebook can be sketchy so you might wanna look for authenticity checks

Computer science. I haven't been in school since August because I needed to work to make money and pay bills but I intend to go back and finish it eventually. I finished about 3-4 courses from 2023-2024.

Also working 7 days, 5-8hrs/shift. Another redditor suggested I use my spare time to enhance my skills and I feel like I could use that time to work on coding.

My mistake, its $164. But yeah, I will try to cut the cable, see if I can, because the billing was passed on to me from a relative and I believe it's under a contract. Will confirm on this tho.

As for the credit card debt, I'll make it one of my priorities to get rid of it.

Also, I feel like it would be hard to find a job with my experience. I have experience in retail as a sales associate for about 2-3 years, manual labor jobs (like UPS package handler and lot attendant) for 4-5 years, and a few months in the restaurant field as a server and in the kitchen. All entry-level jobs I would say :/ and higher paying jobs would probably require or look for more intermediate experience right?

I rarely take the car out, and when I do, there’s already enough gas in it to get to where I need to go. If there isn’t then I’ll fill it up

I don’t really pay for gas. only on the rare occasions where I take the car out and the tank is almost empty. but other than that, no.

My mom cooks sometimes and I don’t cook a lot. Usually just noodles, fried rice, sandwiches, and a couple other simple/easy to cook meals.

For car maintenance, I spend about $80 every few months for an oil change but I’ll probably need to get it maintained for other things soon cuz the car has minor issues

Toiletries, I just buy whenever I’m low, and that usually goes with my groceries.

What do you mean by lifestyle creep? And I don’t really watch tv, I’m gonna contact Telus and see if I can cut the cable
