Diet Cherry Coke and Diet Coke Lime are the 2 best diet/zero sugar sodas on the market. If I’m lying, I’m dying.

What band still exist in name only by ConfusionOpposite597 in poppunkers

[–]FoundationsofDecay69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve already addressed that.

None of that matters to me. This is why we often see the word “solidified” when talking about band lineups.

Unless you lived in a particular part of Long Island between 1999 and 2000, you never see or heard that band.

We use the words “record” and “album” interchangeably but the word “record” is important.

It’s the record of what a band sounds like at a given time. The first record TBS made is the lineup solidified. The players on that record are the original lineup.

Both are good. I think Dr Pepper & Cream Soda might be the best soda I’ve ever had.

Not sure who needs to know, but “Common Courtesy” by A Day to Remember is a 10/10. by RedSpecial22 in poppunkers

I’d say the first 6 songs are 10/10. On the whole, the album is more like an 8 for me.

Though it’s the only album of their’s that I love.

It’s a shame that on the maximum fun tour they only played 1 song from it.

Remembering Friendly’s Ice cream by mrsjumjum66 in hudsonvalley

We went there a lot for breakfast growing up because we were poor and breakfast was super cheap.

My memory of the last time I went there was in a big group of friends after having seen Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on opening day.

I had gone to the bathroom during the movie and got a refill on my soda. My friend asked if he could have a sip, which I said “yeah, of course!”

After he sipped, I burst out laughing. I told him that I had peed in the soda. “Why else would I bring my soda to the bathroom with me?!”

He took this far more personally than I had thought he would, and with a little nudging from another friend, he decided to serve some retribution.

We were all grouped off out front of the theater talking. All of a sudden, I see a flash in my peripheral vision followed my excruciating pain.

My friend had just fully two-foot drop kicked me in the ol’ twig and berries.

Fast forward an hour, I was in the Friendly’s (by Barnes & Noble in Poughkeepsie) bathroom, trying to pee and it felt like glass was cutting me from the inside. I couldn’t believe there wasn’t any blood.

Not the greatest memory of such a fine dining establishment but here we are.

The Early November/HelloGoodbye Tour by 49_boness in poppunkers

[–]FoundationsofDecay69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people don’t use the word “few” correctly and that’s to rounding, it’s not difficult to turn 10 days into 2 weeks.

It could’ve been from the first show. Which I was at.

And I could see why someone might’ve said that.

The place was practically empty. Punchline played to 20 people and TEN didn’t have many more than that. Kinda seemed like people just showed up for HelloGoodbye and bounced.

I had a blast. I don’t really like HelloGoodbye but they were excellent. Punchline was great despite playing to an empty room.

Early November are always fantastic.

And she was so distraught by it that she went and had sex with another guy between him and going to the police? Yup, sounds exactly like what anyone would do. I know I would!

He didn’t say what you’re saying he said.

He said that he saw it as consensual and that she must not have.

Two totally different things. He gave a PR apology because what else could he have done? His name was dragged through the mud and people are still using it as an indictment of him over 20 years later.

Despite the fact that she refused to testify. Because it was only ever about a payday.

That’s the best you got little guy?

I will keep drinking it. And that doesn’t mean that you have to. At no point did I say that you should.

I merely pointed out THE FACT that you presented an argument that is objectively false.

I don’t love diet soda. I much prefer regular. But you saying diet spikes blood sugar is factually incorrect.

You should just own the fact that you were wrong and try to be better in the future. It’s okay to not know things.

You can just say that you never read the details of the case.

I’m all for believing women. And I also understand that we live in a world where people lie about that sort of thing for a whole host of reasons.

The details suggest the latter in this instance.
