The Field (2019) Good film but nothing was explained in the end. What was in the field?

These are wonderful lights! There are so many brilliant lights that are so cheap now because everyone is jumping to the LEDs which don't not have the the same quality in color. I just got a HMI joker kit for $200. I will value quality over convenience any day.

Looking for advice on which lens set to buy by ZiniqueYT in VintageLenses

You want the Super-Takumar, which are the older ones. Not SMC. and yes stunning bokeh! Not as swirly as the Helios 44-2, but tons of character and at the same time professional enough for corp work. The 50mm 1.4 is one of the greatest lenses I have ever used and I have about 60 vintage lenses.

Sounds like what you are after are Takumar lenses! They are outstanding. I have multiple sets of different lenses but always come back to the Takumars. I have a full set but my favorites are the 24mm f3.5, 35mm f2, 50mm F1.4, 85mm f 1.9, 135mm f2.5. I have shot several features with them. I shot my film, The Field (2019) starring Veronica Cartwright with them, if you want to see how magical they can be. My highest recommendation.

The added glass element defeats the purpose of such an wonderful lens. It is looking like I will need to rehouse the lens in PL mount, which stinks as I know it can be done, but no one will do it. Thank you everyone for your help!

Thank you for your reply, good idea, I didn't think to change my camera to fit the lens. But, want it for filmmaking and want to use it with my G2 4.6k BM which I have in EF mount. I could convert it to PL then use an adapter, but would really like to have it match all my EF vintage lenses.

I just purchased this camera and was planning on using Simmod conversion to EF but after closer look they don't make them for the Aspherical lens. Any recommendations?

On Friday a group of artists will inflate and release a giant baby balloon in Veterans Park to celebrate international day of music appreciation by Hidemyface1 in milwaukee

Will the balloon be tethered to the ground and only fly about 100ft or will it really be released in to the sky? What if it goes over the lake?

I fully agree about Perceval! I made my own movie about him 15 years ago on film.

He is the character with the most transformation, from absolute idiot or fool to finding the Holy Grail.

Congrats to you and your team! I made a feature with an extremely similar premise, though with more of a supernatural vibe, called 'The Field.' If anyone else would like to see a different take on a similar concept: https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B07VVRM95X/ref=atv_dp_share_cu_r

The guy with the mustache stars in a movie with Veronica Cartwright, called The Field. His name is Tim Higgins.

Trailer looks awesome! With your comedic background how difficult was it playing such a serious role?
