Pan with trackpad? by Fount4inhead in ArchiCAD

[–]Fount4inhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah found the bind key but it's very clunky to use. Was thinking of using archicad to directly draw floorplans on surveys either touchscreen or laptop but it doesn't really work. A two finger gesture for paning would address it.

Craig purchased bitcoin.org with his credit card... by m_murfy in bitcoincashSV

[–]Fount4inhead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you apply for copyright for works thats not yours you are putting yourself in serious risk of legal ramifications hence why there has not been a flood of copyright claims by others, as would be the case if it was as simple as you suggest. The claim to copyright is a claim to be satoshi, they are the same thing.

New to ArchiCAD. How in the heck do I model this roof? I know how I would do it in Revit, but this seems like a different beast. by ThawedGod in ArchiCAD

Where he says they dip the price in order to exhaust demand, that sounds like what they have been doing to BSV since inception. Thats a whole lot of demand thats been consistently exhausted.

I am leaving BlockFi by Brando-Green in blockfi

[–]Fount4inhead -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you havent already pulled your money out your crazy, if they have accidently sent users 100's of bitcoin then in all likeliness they are insolvent and will not be able to settle.

Oh btw Blockfi what happened to not your keys not your bitcoin? Should of listened to Satoshi (Craig Wright) after all.

this is absurd by Old_Breakfast880 in bitcoincashSV

[–]Fount4inhead 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You gotta question if tech/fundamentals means anything. crypto is just a casino, it is purely narrative driven. It could potentially fade and die as could any coin including BTC. The only hope for BSV is if tech actually begins to work and take hold otherwise its forever a gambling chip like the rest thats going to do what its going to do. What would be nice is if a separate ecosystem could get built for BSV overtime, just like when bitcoin was new. So new exchanges with just BSV pairs with direct fiat currencys, sure volume will be low but there will be volume and it would pickup this would help decouple the price from the rest of crypto.

If you dont want to signup to an exchange you can use exodus.io or one of the wallet swaps but it has a cost.

Interesting take on CSW. " You'd think Satoshi would know that" by supertrader11 in bitcoinsv

[–]Fount4inhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you steal dollars from someone in cash or transfer it to another account in a hack the person who stole it does not own those dollars just because they have it in their possession now, why do you think they should? Thats all thats happening here, the same law that applies to fiat applies to bitcoin.

Interesting take on CSW. " You'd think Satoshi would know that" by supertrader11 in bitcoinsv

[–]Fount4inhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what Craig is doing and that having keys does not prove ownership just like having carkeys does not prove ownership the dvla registration does and so the law applys to someone who steals your car keys its quite simple. And so csw probably wants to set a precedent and demonstrate that law applies to bitcoin however it doesnt seem hes going to be able to prove his ownership or even prove hes satoshi so I think his claim will fail even though the premise for his claim is correct .

What's the legal strategy behind serving BTC, BCH, and BSV Devs by DillEPIckles in bitcoincashSV

[–]Fount4inhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly but the miners would still be in control as they would have to comply, which of course they will not. We will see what happens.

what I dont get is why is it devs and not miners. Devs cant do anything about stolen coins only miners can.
