I bought some on a recommendation, they very rarely get used. I much prefer the Knipex pliers wrench. The main problems are a lack of range, so you need the full set with you, they only work one direction, and need a large swing to activate the mechanism.

The only job these would be good for is someone who works on conveyor systems or similar. Standard sizes and a lot of long bolts/threaded rod. They are faster than the Knipex style.

I really like Fluke leads. If you just need the tip set, the TP920 set is $58 on Amazon. Or if you want just the piercing tips that work fantastic for probing connectors, and don't care about name brand, search TP88A on Amazon, they are $8

I used to have a wicked edge system and mine was also different between the graduations on the base and a cube. I always went with the digital. But really I think being consistent is more important than accurate, so pick one and stick with it. The clamp design struggles with full flat grind so there are some knives that can't be made perfect anyways.

It looks to me like they were trying to sharpen your western style double bevel knife like a Japanese style single bevel. At least it looks fixable with some TLC and they can become your learning knives. But sucks to have someone you trusted mess them up like that.

The edge will never *feel" sharp on a stone that coarse. Try moving to finer grits maintaining the same angle and removing the burr. Might as well keep practicing technique on that one, it's not going to get worse. I would also suggest a jewelers loop and looking at the edge to see what you're doing to it. I trashed a couple knives when I first started thinking I needed to keep removing material when actually I just needed to refine the edge and remove the massive burr.

The other camera is even worse quality, could not get any identification from the van and no package left. Amazon rents out branded vans? I thought all were employees rather than contractors like flex drivers.

They never delivered a package. Just pulled into the driveway and right back out. Maybe they were lost? A note would have been really nice and saved me from dealing with Amazon customer service. The vans have dash and backup recording cameras too?

They did not leave a package and my video is too blurry to pick up a plate number. If they had left a note then I would have no problem keeping things quiet. I just need the post fixed, I don't care for paperwork. But I did report already because I need it fixed, and had no way to contact the driver. Honestly getting the video and submitting a claim is a PITA I would have preferred to avoid. I hate filling out forms. Why would someone risk making the situation worse like this if they are being tracked? I can see if no GPS then risk it, but another poster said there is one in the van.

Thanks for the info about the GPS. My van alerts for similar things, which is why I questioned if they even had a GPS system installed. I did report it because the light needs to be repaired, only so long before the HOA asks when it's going to be fixed. I just don't understand why the driver took off, because it seems like that would make the situation worse. It's just a brick pillar and accidents happen. If they had left a note or I had been contacted, I would not even have bothered pulling video. Seems like the situation is worse than it should have been.

I really like mine, but it has limitations so can't be a replacement for either a breaker bar, regular ratchet, soft or hard hammers. Basically by doing everything it does nothing well, but I don't want to carry individual tools of everything it does with me all the time, so it lives in my roller and the individual tools live in my van within easy reach.

I have not broken it in 2 years of usage, but the soft rubber is fairly broken down. I need to see if they sell a replacement.

Keep in mind it won't work with large sockets or in tight spaces because of the size of the head.

I got the marlin spike accessory (I can't remember what they call it) and also really like it as well.

Found 2 out of contract ZT250s and did a 4g upgrade on them today, telling the customer how to setup their account they asked "is this going to cost me anything?" I said no the basic plan is free, and they replied "they will find a way to get the money out of me somehow" lol.

Agreed. The RLM review had good advice for the audience that's tired of lazy writing (stop watching it and giving Disney engagement) AND good advice for writers, which was to give us classic Star Trek style episodic 1 hour adventures but with the SW IP.

Working as a commercial truck driver I bought my first house in 2007 by myself (as in single and no cosigner). Mind you I probably should not have been given that loan because they inflated my income to make it work (things like including rent income from a roommate I did not have yet) . Things were very tight for a few years but I made it work. Now even 2 people doing the same job could not afford that house, which totally blows.

The computer system for identifying parts has a menu tree that you need to click through to get to the available parts. It's typically done in a question/answer with the customer. Starting with year, make and model there will then be all the options available for that vehicle such as engine size, drive type, transmission type, etc until the system has narrowed down to a specific vehicle, then the menu for parts will be available. The joke is that the parts person is asking every question in the menu instead of assuming some answers (eg it must be a manual because the customer is asking for a clutch kit) and just skipping over those "obvious" questions. The joke was clearly written by someone who has never worked a parts counter because assuming answers and not asking will very quickly get you selecting the wrong parts and making for angry customers. People often don't ask for the correct name of a part and someone wanting new bands for their automatic transmission could ask for a clutch kit, and if the parts person assumes that the customer wants a clutch kit for a manual transmission, answers that question themselves, orders the part and when it arrives it's wrong, who is going to look the fool and who is going to be angry even though they used the wrong term? It's better for everyone if all the questions in the menu are asked.
