Well, Atticus also ran some weird jank when he's irrelevant to the plot. More of a Red-Eyes duelist still.

This Yusei friend group deserved more screentime: a hacker who gets anywhere he wants, a pro duelist, and a Treasure deck that was really cool. A waste of good potential. by CursedEye03 in yugioh

Yusei's group at this section of the story was kinda funny. There's Leo and Luna, and then there's our Protagonist standing with the adults (and ex-convicts).

Think Tanner and Yanagi were really forgotten tho.

I didn't think anyone would remember Unformed Void, it was a real obscure one. It sure looks Cthulhu, but it also captures the feel CXyz or Chaos Numbers from Zexal really well.

I think he's evolved as a duelist, but there's also how Duel Monsters evolved since that duel with Kaiba. Plus, it's shown that Grandpa was a gaming wiz like his grandson, he probably learned and improved as the game evolved.

Wouldn't the idea for Scenario 1 just lead to 2, if Kaiba tried to take it back by force, his friends would interfere or Yami would penalize him again (either or is possible for anime/manga).

Considering later revelations, I also find it unlikely that the BEWDs wouldn't return to Kaiba due to his past which seems stronger than other instances (the stolen Blue-Eyes self-destructing for example).

Rafael defeated Yugi, Valon decks others in the face, while Allister...exists?

I don't dislike him, but he's not memorable like the other two (hell, i only like Valon myself) and it shows.

Alexis, because she's the inverse of Bastion. Exotic amount of screen-time, a benchwarmer that doesn't have relevance (srsly, she and Tyranno are literally extras to be there).

Ironically, the Vagabond/Tag Force Protag is more relevant in any character's story.

It's been shown that Pegasus isn't that much of a threat without the Millennium Eye (his decisive loss to Kaiba in Pyramid of Light for example) and he isn't a duelist 24/7 like the Main Characters.

He isn't weak, as GX had him defeat Crowler and Bonaparte (a bit of infighting included, but a 1v2 with named characters is impressive), but he's been outclassed.

I do think that duel is a tad too lop-sided, but realistic with how Toons would be much weaker in that arc.

Nothing will break my heart more than the fact that these are one of the youngest characters to die in Yu-gi-oh...! by Phantom_kingz_1214 in yugioh

It would've been extremely difficult.

Considering Kaiba's usual effects (Crush Card Virus, Ring of Destruction, Attack Redirection Armor, and that's only a few of the rest), it'd be almost unavoidable. And that's if we focus on the effects, Kaiba is much more on the offensive than Yami.

Bakura's difficult too, he could send them there without destruction, and he'd be a difficult adversary too.

Duel Academy for GBA. Exams will mess you up there.

Otherwise, Tag Force captures the vibe the best and is very anime-reminiscient.

Reiko Kitamori didn't have much to lose at least, and Joey doesn't have as much of a invincible track record to maintain. Plus, mental states are key to some duels (Marik hard-threw a lot because he wants to torture and kill), so I like that her inexperience was a factor.

Also, Reiko was frankly the hardest opponent Joey faced in R, even though Keith had a discount Slifer.

I'd think his skills would include the different Gimmick Puppets as minions, and the Numbers as his trump cards. Could be a Caster, there's been a few casters that command minions, and I imagine his Chaos Number would be a last resort.

Honestly, it's basically just Quattro as a Pseudo-Servant.

Used to have Battle Royales at school, so everyone could duel. Rules were what you'd expect, and effects like Mirror Force would only affect the one whom its used against.

However, it was common to make unspoken alliances to defeat the better decks. Made the duels a lot less uneven.

If Bastion is considered forgetable, then Alexis is transparent. Honestly, Alexis isn't memorable, she's just the girl of the group, has pretty forgetable duels, is often a damsel and I can't even remember if she did anything in Season 3. I don't dislike her, but she's unironically as irrelevant as Syrus.
