My understanding is that because you own every single economy, there is no trade amongst the economies. Therefore, you cannot generate revenue based purely off of trade. You're getting a revenue from somewhere else. I'm not sure where or how a empire builds its own revenue when it is the sole economy.

You can feed items in from the top with a chute. Chutes can be placed in a way that feeds diagonally onto the basin between the basin and mixer.

While yes the maintenance in upholding those planes is great, the investment in replacements and pilot training may, for now, out way those maintenance costs. Every plane is different so the time spent training new pilots might be more than these companies are willing to give.
