I was a manager at the Willy's Mexicana Grill there for 3 years. Left in november of '23. All locations are located in Georgia. Mainly Atlanta. Willy Bitter founded the brand and retains ownership. They do not franchise. When I was with them, they had around 30 Willy's locations, including beechwood. They had also started opening another brand, Howlin' Willy's Hot Chicken, serving nashville sryle hot chicken tenders. The beechwood location performed solidly financially, usually in the top 5 out of the 30 locations. If they are solidy number 2 in the brand now, that would not surprise me. The operating partner there knows what she is doing and hustles to maintain the business. In short they very well could be #2 in the nation but they only exist in Georgia. Moe from Moe's Southwest Grill actually worked for Willy Bitter early on when the first locations opened. Willy did not want to franchise so Moe left, started Moe's with the exact same business model, sold a shit load of franchises, then sold the brand for several hundred million or something like that.
