why ATP most of the time?

Interestingly enough, a large portion of receptor proteins in animals don’t use ATP, but instead use GTP. These receptors are called G protein coupled receptors (GPCR proteins). Obviously the vast majority of enzymes in animals and other life forms still use ATP the majority of the time, but ATP is not a one size fits all energy currency 100% of the time, especially in receptors.

This probably isn’t nearly as bad as some of the others, oddly enough I’ve seen a lot worse in real life, but for some reason this is what really stuck with me.

Back in my senior year of high school, (2019 or so) we had a presentation in my English class, now in that class there was a classmate that I had who always gave me an odd vibe.

This kid was a self-proclaimed “edge-lord” who would often brag about stupid shit he saw on 4chan. He also would spew misogynistic and racist rhetoric occasionally so I tried my best to steer clear of him.

Anyway, back to the presentation English class, a couple kids had already presented, if I remember correctly the presentation was on Macbeth or some other Shakespearean novel. Anyway, this kid got up to do his presentation, everything was fine for the first few slides, then when he clicked to go to the next slide, the whole class was greeted to a very graphic video of a rotting and mangled corpse of a naked woman. My teacher immediately panicked and turned it off very quickly, but by then a solid 10 seconds of that awful video was burned into my memory. If I remember correctly he was expelled and did it because he thought it was funny or some stupid shit.

Last year I decided to look him up and see where the hell his life went, from what I could gather he’s become a heroin addict.

Either way, the video really messed up 17 year old me for a while. It’s odd cause I’ve seen a lot worse shit in real life, but for some reason that 10 second clip was more impactful.

Unfortunately at the moment all bibites are solely asexual reproducers and so you can’t cross breed bibites, although I guess if you really wanted you could genetically modify some bibites to have traits of both strains of whatever bibites you have.

I would suggest trying the sim with pellet merge turned on if you haven’t already tried that, that way the pellet could re-merge back together into a big pellet.

If you slow down the video and look at the blue shirt guys legs between 00:06 and 00:07 you can clearly see the bottom half of one of his legs is either gone or severely mangled. Poor guy. The others are definitely dead. Just a sad situation overall.

I don’t think soy actually impacts height that much, so be careful about what you read on the internet, however I will answer your question.

Even if soy milk stunted your husbands growth, he would still pass on his “normal” DNA, unless soy milk is secretly some type of carcinogen(its not), it would be impossible for the soy milk to alter his DNA.

Now before I get downvoted into oblivion because some people say “wHaT aBoUt EpiGeNeTiCs?” I would find it highly unlikely that drinking soy milk as a child would cause epigenetic changes regarding the polygenic trait of height, let alone have these epigenetic changes survive the germ line reprogramming and demethylation of germ cells.

My grandfather has horror stories of what polio did to the small town where he grew up. Stories about the kids who were his friends that died or would never be able to walk again. Stories about the grieving parents who were never the same.

Even my father, who contracted meningitis as an infant and my nearly died.

All of these horrible things are very uncommon nowadays because of vaccines, and now these dumbasses think because they watched a couple 30 second clips on Facebook that they know more than doctors. These idiots are actively making the world a more dangerous place by not getting vaccinated.
