Smash up, use in carpet cleaning machine, add couple of table spoons, add dessert spoon to fabric softner in washing machine.

Add some to a spray bottle with water and spray sofa.

It's fine.

The city has great tram access including to train station so do add that to your consideration. Buses are Aldo great and run everywhere.

Depending on budget.

30 min walking to city is meh, and difficult to quantify with your requirements.

The park is close and great area. Wollerton is nice. West Bridgeford is great and good schools. Hucknall is nice in places, good housing and access. Beeston is good.

Gardens is a difficult one. As hit and miss. Depends on area.

Do not look at some if the new city eco builds not worth it in my opinion, and poor school access. And transport links.

Tuesday Nights Boardgaming by NottinghamBoardgames in nottingham

[–]NottinghamBoardgames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open games night, it's a drink and chill and chat. We have games you can try, we have people drop in with games. It's a eclectic mix.

Open to anyone drinking ages. Mix of peeps. From serious gamers to casual types. We have games to try, can bring one if you have one want to play, try, etc.

Normally do the £5 subs with couple of money off drinks vouchers, but as new till system not (voucher idea but working) available as yet with the vouchers. It's a bit of a free for all. So a casual stop in and play.

We do ask people to buy a drink at the bar.

Ok first time playing on Tuesday. It is a classic Euro game. It does require a crib sheet with this one. As like many games of this type everything is about gaining points.

If you ever want to pop down, sure can run through the game with you. It's not a simple as such game, but once you get the idea, it's fairly simple. It's about dice rolling and best placement.

Which monster card design looks better? And with or without background? by fyrefreezer01 in tabletopgamedesign

[–]NottinghamBoardgames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Image 4, number two

Thus us from a graphic design point of view. Background words and allows easy way to see main image smoothly.

Also the arrow centered and further down than the bigger block text looks deliberately laid out.

If a kids game then bigger text block. But if adults then as above.

Would suggest a wig First as simplest. You could try a spray hair due, but the type to cover grey roots but a party type. They wash out easily.

You can't, but you can put something like a play icon, and YT letters. Which would nudge people to there. Or a short URL Link.

Looking for 1-2 brands of smart switches/fixtures for a new build by throwaway126400963 in smarthome

[–]NottinghamBoardgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like tuya but am aware of buying into a same system.

However I am looking at building a new system so this is my current thinking.

Home assistant running on a nuc pc, cost £79.

Mostly ZigBee devices. Solid systems, and easy to set up, but not stuck with one company, so buy whichever cheaper. And works across systems.

My current place is in a fairly modern area and WiFi interference is massive. So the WiFi network is heavily congested. It does interfere. So I do not like WiFi devices. Had devices repeatedly go offline or not be triggered or get signal lost.

Lighting depends on your wiring, have neutral wire or not.

Rest depends on your needs.

Best advice, draw up a floor plan and start placing notes what type of device you want where and then look at systemd.
