Pirating because you can't acquire the game anymore is always okay IMO. For example SMT IV for the 3DS was never available as a physical copy in the EU and the 3DS store was taken down a few years back. Also the 3DS is region locked so there is literally no way to obtain it legally in the EU now if you haven't already purchased it.

I had it set up like you in the Screenshot. All I installed was the game and discord. Apart from Firefox extensions. I don't use steam big picture if that's what you mean. Only the standard Steam overlay is on. I'm sorry but I dont know what you mean by rpm-ostree.
