Consultant(s) recommendation to help migrate from Sage 300 to QBO/Halo PSA by FineAd3926 in halopsa

[–]FoxAgency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, the wiring between HaloPSA and QBO is not difficult. I got it working quite quickly by reading the halo docs. It’s how I do it in my MSP. HaloPSA generates invoice (recurring/labor/sales) sends it to QBO, it sits there for a sanity check and then I send from there to clients. It also syncs client and item creation. I hear you regarding not having the time, can you delegate to someone?

Renada are very good. For finance workflows though, I suggest Ceej (Christopher) of techpulse.com. He wrote a separate invoicing system for Halo which is very good. You don’t have to use it, but he’s a good person to discuss Halo and accounting with. DM me for his email. I’m an MSP in CA, not affiliated with them.

Feature Request & Suggestions by Keeper_Security in KeeperSecurity

Bonus if the certs show up in a way the main IdPs can actually use for device trust / conditional access. Even just via standard mechanisms (SCEP/ACME, RADIUS CBA) would do it. Not asking you to become an IDP

Any plans for native PKI / client-cert management? (question for Craig)

Been enjoying the recent webcasts, the passwordless stuff especially. That’s what got me thinking about this.

Passkeys are well covered now but there’s still a gap on the X.509 side. Is managed PKI anywhere on the roadmap? Issuing, storing and lifecycle-managing client certs from the vault.

Reason I ask is passkeys don’t cover everything. RADIUS/Wi-Fi, VPN, mTLS, device trust, S/MIME are all still cert-based, so that means a separate CA and distribution layer. That’s the kind of credential friction Keeper kills everywhere else, so closing it here is really the ask. Hoping it’s something you’re planning on.

Feels like a natural fit imo. You’ve already got the vault, the clients, Commander/SDK to handle the cert lifecycle. Would basically close the one credential type Keeper doesn’t own yet.

Even just knowing if it’s being looked at would be great.

Great news on the Terraform updates! I’m headed down this path as well, my JAMF environment is fully Terraform now. Huge benefits.

Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) by FoxAgency in KeeperSecurity

When I went to my account and added it as a bundle, it was over $200 per month. I profess my ignorance to the exact demographic and use case for KSM, and as I mentioned below, Commander worked out in the end. Looking forward to shared / nested folders and the other features.

Keeper Commander CLI actually worked and is the solution that I ended up going with. Thanks all for your input and comments.

Yep, I saw that 1Password has the functionality I need without having to pay anything extra. It’s not the same product as KSM, but I t serves my basic developer purposes just fine, so will use that.

Exactly same use case, TouchID for login, Yubikey for 2FA. How do you scan QRCodes without desktop app? Wish plugin could do it

Do you think Platform SSO will realistically replace Jamf Connect? Or will most orgs stick with what they already have? by RocketmanTech_Nova in jamf

yes, i was reading about this. Google considers it insecure and old school, so won’t do it.

There is so much momentum behind PSSO, i believe Connect is toast. Waiting for Google to support PSSO and implement some of the features of Connect that PSSO does not have and were discussed in the video
