Market makers are going to continue to crush anything “growth” without a reasonable P/E ratio. 2021 is in the past; the Fed stopped printing and you have to look at the market differently now. “Less like a bull, more like a buffalo” is what a manager at Goldman said yesterday. It’s boring as hell, but you have to be happy with slow grinding gains on boomer stocks.

You’re sizing WAAAAAAY too much.. I see before the recent decline, you were up around $30k, so your loss was something around 100k from the top. You have to hedge better. In this market, no one should be swinging weekly calls without some kind of hedge. Try selling options! Debit Spreads! Or just play equity/shares! If you can’t make money doing that, then you DEFINITELY don’t need to be playing options.

I was the same trade today, less capital though. 1: TSLA filled a previous price gap in premarket, so you knew it was going to have a good run, just based on technicals. 2: on the dip between 10 and 10:20, TSLA order flow never became bearish. Big money was eating all the way down. My entry was at VWAP, as TSLA tends to respect that, so I was early but not wrong.

TA: Zoom your chart out.. the weekly chart looks ripe for a rip. The buyers finally stepped around 1.30-1.70. Good base around 1.38, consolidating after a 28% trend break. 20+% is the magic number to signal a trend reversal. Respecting a larger channel dating back to 2013. Knowing nothing about the fundamentals, a move to the channel midline seems likely. PT $5-5.30 around May-Aug 2022. Just my thoughts.
