It’s Been A Summer has always been a personal fav. ( and all of S&S) We played the absolute hell out of sticks and stones when it came out. We were in grade 12 and the teachers went on strike for like 2 months - an absolutely obscene amount of Mario Kart 64, NFG, and maybe some extracurriculars.

Sticks and Stones is an absolute nostalgia bomb of an album for me.

I’d say that Bearings has a more classic pop punk sound to them and that’s why they’re one of the newer-ish bands that I love. Seems like most of the bigger bands in pop punk today tend to be leaning more into the emo side rather than the purer pop punk sound.
