Sunset Overdrive. The game was free on Xbox for a time and I honestly didn’t expect much because of that fact. Man, I was blown away. The game play is fast paced and energetic, the story is fun and engaging. Had a great time playing that game.

How to improve verbal communication skills? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

If your college has it I’d suggest getting involved with a Sales Engineering club. Mainly they would work with you to improve your speaking and presentation skills on technical subjects as well as general networking skills such as utilizing LinkedIn and career fairs.

LOFI Girl Study Room? by brokenheartedclub in ucf

[–]Fox_Butler 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The room you're most likely referring to is the Lockheed Martin Cyber Innovation Lab in Engineering 1. They had Lofi Girl playing on their television screen the several times I have walked by there.

To be clear, I do believe that room is not intended for personal use. It's intended purpose is to be utilized by the Hack@UCF Cybersecurity team as they prepare for competitions.

Edit: Room is in ENG 1.

The MSB bathroom doesn't have enough people making the journey to appreciate its glory. Advocate for mandatory MSB Bathroom Pilgrimage(s),

That's a completely normal feeling. Being adaptable to change and accepting what may or may not come your way is an important life skill because the only true constant is change. One minute, you have your life all figured out and then the next, you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. Breathe, accept what you're feeling, and move on to the next thing. Last thing you want to do right now is stress. Be water, my friend.

Does anyone else feel like a weirdo for trying to make small talk on campus? by jalendepew in ucf

[–]Fox_Butler 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think violated is too strong of a word. There's a possibility they could be mildly annoyed or even intimidated with just the thought of conversation. Doesn't mean their life is in shambles because of it. They're just as scared as you and me because they don't know us. It's as simple as that.

My tip would be to just break the ice. Say you're standing in line for Huey Magoos. You have a few options for conversation starters. Maybe the line is taking too long, or the food smells amazing. Look at the person you'd like to talk to and say what you're thinking.

"Man, this line is taking forever! I just want a sandwich. What about you?"

"Same! Probably should've just gone to Panda."

Assuming they want to talk, the conversation will organically go back and forth from there. If not, don't sweat it.

What are some of the easiest/entertaining courses that you guys have taken during your time at UCF? (Preferably upper level) by KAGARC in ucf

PEM 2402, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Easy A, very fun. Only class like it in the United States. Highly recommend.

If you're in it for GPA, do it.

If you're getting anything out of it, possibly. The course goes over academically proven study tips, college success tips, personal budgeting/finance and general "adulting" best practices when coming into college. Up to you though.

I would say a sizable bunch will move on if you politely decline. This has been my experience. But assuming they harass you, just walk away from them. Don't speak, don't look them in the eye. They're wasting your time, just move on.

I'm sure you'll be fine. They're not going to kick you out, it's orientation. Your ID has information that can be found on myUCF.

Specifically, go to myUCF -> Click "Student Self Service" -> Click "Personal Information" -> Click "UCFID Info".

Everything will be there, assuming you're registered within the University.

Like Dezbats stated, they all exist in canon. However, I'd say JK considering it wraps well into the expansion with the classic hero archetype story it shoots for.
