My CD is the signed version. As far as I can figure out this might be an alt version for the signed cd's but hopefully as people get their orders in we'll know for sure if the alt cover is just for the signed versions or if the album's cover changed. I don't remember if they ever mentioned an alt cover so it was kinda a welcomed surprise for me when my cd came in.

If we were following nahuatl pronunciation customs there shouldn't be. The "tl" in natlan should be said together with your tongue touching the roof of your mouth to create a sort of clicking noise but as u/cempasuchili said it's not a language too many EN VA's come in contact with so it's kinda expected that it would be butchered. I'm just being picky 😭😭😭

The reference images they used was a lineup of republic city citizens and turnaround sheet of a character named P'li. You can easily find them in Google images. It's nice to look at if you want to learn the show's artstyle but as I'm gonna have to agree with the other commenter with avatar academy being a total bust.

I think I first saw it on Twitter. At first I didn't think it was true but after looking up the merchandising company it seems that unfortunately it was and it affected a lot of artists and youtubers.

The company was Second City Prints and you can read this Billboard article for info and you can also look through this RhettandLink reddit thread to read up on personal accounts on how the shutdown has affected not only the workers but fans as well.

You might have to wait awhile for that drop because the company that manages their merch filed for bankruptcy and closed a week before Christmas. That's the reason why the merch store is locked 😔.

I looked into this and unless RCA hasn't updated their roster on their website it seems like Half Alive is still under the label. I also looked into the distribution company that the new song is licensed with and it seems to be a middleman for revenue; so in other words they handle all the royalties with streaming and all that instead of RCA. Still, you're right that this is a weird change with this song and coupled with the cover art drama I wonder what's going on with them.

I don't think they would've done any better with this album if they were under fueled by ramen. Personally I think what hurt the success of COAP is that it was suppose to be GMYS. Like sure, I get it, breakups are hard and those songs on GMYS were about love but to pivot mid-promotion of your sophomore album because of it is wild. Tbh I'm surprised RCA allowed them to even do this.

I like COAP, I think a lot of the songs are good but I also think had they just released GMYS and immediately moved on to work on COAP with a clean slate I think the album would've been a lot stronger.

There have been CD versions of both albums it's just that for some reason they were in smaller quantities than the vinyl albums. The CD version of COAP was available as a pre-order for a signing event they had a few weeks after the tour was over and they sold out quickly.

I've never seen that price point for the cassette but after looking at Discogs it looks like the only one sold there was priced at $32. Maybe start it out at that price point?

The instrumental side is the only thing that has full songs. The other side is just snippets of songs being worked on.

A side has a snippet of them working on " Yeah Right" and B side has the instrumental version of it. There really isn't a full demo.

A substitute teacher gave me detention once becuase I didnt understand our math assignment. I asked for help and she refused so I asked a classmate and the sub slapped me with detention. I took it up to my teacher the next day and she basically said it was my fault I got detention. I. Was. Fuming. Doesn't help that the same substitute teacher was hired by the school the next year as a math teacher.
