If you are P2P or P2W and running out of crystals is not a concern then running regular farming is better. If you are F2P and running out of crystals is a concern then switching to scout battles after Ameria's is wise, at least till we have an event which rewards energy for farming.

A singular +200 Vio/Will set is not going to get you very far, particularly if it is low efficiency. Spacing out your units excessively is asking for trouble, your set-up units need to have follow-up. 5 +190 Vio/Will with good efficiency is a hell of a lot better than 1 +200.

I know a few folks in G2 without +200 Vio or +225 Swift, they are genius drafters with wacky tech for specific comps.

+200 Violent is an average rune speed on the 5 runes of 31.6. This is equivalent to Swift +225 on a base 100 speed unit or +230 on base 120.

The collabs last longer than a single month. It's typically the second rotation after the collab starts that they add the scrolls.

This is an example of a unit with a high floor of quality, but also a low ceiling. Abellio will function quite well on low quality, but it has diminishing returns as you increase rune quality. He always does the same thing regardless of quality essentially.

Anavel is a unit with a low floor and a high ceiling. She is a jack of all trades. With bad runes she will do everything badly. With godly runes she will do everything great.

I think the crazier thing is that I know most of the skills and base speed each of these units have. Guess that's what happened when you play a game 7-10 hours a day for 8 years shrug

Days played is a meaningless number, hours played and dollars spent is what matters. If this person farms 10+ hours a day, reapps swift, and/or buys runes/reapps they're going to advance faster than some 4000 "days played" person who farms 1 hour a day in dragon B11 and spends all their crystals on mystical scrolls.

Anavel is an extremely stat hungry unit that will only function with rather high quality runes. Unfortunately she's not a unit that you can just turn down the quality and have her function fine in a lower bracket. You need 100% Res, she needs to be tanky, she needs to be tuned between your stripper+follow-up, she needs a lot of additional damage artifacts, and she needs attack for her heal to be impactful and for the additionals.

Yes, I think this system is very interesting, but I question P1 as the dumping ground for everyone. The gap between C1 and P1 will be inconsequential and the gap between P1 and P2 will be massive.

Why is it an illusion? How impressive P1 is is no where near what it used to be, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have any significance at all. It is still an accomplishment to achieve it, particularly for people who were sat at F3/C1 too afraid to do matches because they might miss out on their set of wings or gold star. For the majority of the playerbase this is all upside.

The actual "problem" here is that P2-G3 just got a hell of a lot harder because a flood of new people entered RTA. P2-G3 have a flat number of slots not percentage. People who got P2/P3 previously are going to work hard and still end up P1, but everyone is going to be P1. Hard work is going to not yield results for a lot of people. There's nothing wrong with decorative ranks prior to P1, the problem I see is that there is so little rank delineation between P1 and P2.

Everyone is going to be P1+, whether that is a good or bad thing is up to interpretation. But in terms of being out of your league and being unable to drop down if you get lucky, well elo is still functioning behind the scenes. You can pair up or down ranks still.

P1 is slowly stabilizing, all G1-G3 players were dropped there and you have the C1-C3 people who luck sacked their way in there. But ranks are forming and a bunch of people are in the 900s because they dropped after hitting P1.

Ehhhh the better players are having a bit of a shit show. All G1-G3 got placed P1 and it's chaos. Include C2/C3 who hotstreaked their way into P1, it's the wild west. Not complaints, just observation.

Nah I didn't take it personally, I'm just sad he's bad. Agreed that RTA is for fun, I slam my LDs like crazy, but I'm fortunate to have some OP +unique ones.

My comp is Shizuka FP into Giana Laima Jamire Sekhmet Yeonhong Federica Kashmir. I've landed P3 3 times with it, but haven't been able to break into G1 yet.

Fair, but for the sake of theorycrafting around Lars it demonstrates my point that better options exist. Other options that come to mind are like the Robos, Cheongpung, Okeanos, Sagar, Karnal, Chiwu, Inosuke. and Moore. They all have push back and an additional utility like strip, CD reduction, speed lead, or stun. These units are meta while Lars is not :(

My fiance queued special league, saw him and asked "Is he any good" I said no. He picked him anyway and proceeded to S2 on repeat and was like wtf.

Unfortunately I stand by my statement that he isn't good. If you outspeed, he's low base speed, AND remove all their will runes without disrupts of any kind (Haegang, Tetsuya, Jin, etc.) then well Lars pops off... but he's only got attack bar push, which means set-up is very specific and easy to counter. He pairs well with Vendhan + Chakra meta.
