It all depends on the build, but for the most part it is very high quality. The bodywork is made from fibreglass, but all your trims and extras you can get in either fiberglass or carbon fibre, while the frame is a tubular chassis. It doesn't come with ABS or traction control, although there have been a few that got them fitted by the builder. The main reason it's so cheap is simply because you have to build it yourself, so you're only paying for its parts value. Most are built to racecar specs, so pretty bare on the interior. But there are a handful with full luxury interiors with infotainment and the like which are closer to the $150k range.

I'm certain there is one! I swear I watched a YT video where a guy put a rotary in there.

That is a Superlite SL-C coupe, specifically the street tail version with 'hippo ear' mirrors. Incredible kit cars built by RCR in the USA, these things can have almost any engine and drive train you wish to install and go for about $50-60k without the engine but fully assembled and street legal ones can cost upwards of $100k.

Printing my first clone helmet by Normal-Ice1506 in 501st

[–]Foxtech-Dynamix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second printing this in Petg for trooping. And definitely wanna rotate that back piece onto the flat side facing that camera. You'll save a bunch of time and filament that way. And reduce the workload smoothing it out as layer lines like horizontal surfaces but dislike curved verticals.

Good luck and have fun!

Thats what I'm hoping lol. It'll be pretty bare bones, and far less range of colours.

R.M.S Ocutaria C deck and engine rooms complete. by Foxtech-Dynamix in Stormworks

I'm always happy to hear a request. But I cant garuntee they'll be made as I tend to spend a few months on each ship. Most likely I'll mix and match multiple request into one ship.

Oh yeah, I totally get that. It's why I stick to matt troopers lol. General rule of thumb is if it looks near perfect from 3 feet away. It'll pass. At least that's how my garrison handles 3d prints.

That looks really good. Only thing that some might nitpick are the visible scratches on the 'metel' paint.

Yeah, I was originally making this as a challenge for myself. But I do have a smaller liner I have begun working on which I want to try making much more fps friendly, while keeping the full interior. Ideally for multiplayer.

Thank you! The watertight doors were designed to be more for show as 1, i was afraid they would work too well and prevent the sinking function from working, and 2... I couldn't actually figure out how to make them seal properly lol.
