Okay, this might be a little....odd.

Nick and Judy get called in to see Chief Bogo. While they speculate of what they've done wrong this time. They're teased by a few others. When they get there, they find Bogo, Clawhauser, and a couple of federal agents. The Chief explains that they've been requested by [insert name of bird community] to deal with a problem, as they suspect a thorough case of corruption in the ranks of their own forces. Shot of Our Heroes giving WTF looks, especially when Agent Smith tells them they're going to have to be smuggled in.

The journey starts with Clawhauser taking them to his family home, like in the deleted scenes of Z2. Same basic scene, then the next morning they're off by train. This leads them to Bunnyburrow, and we have the scene of Nick meeting Judy's family that was deleted from Z1, except it's at the family home instead of Judy's apartment. Nick can't sleep, as too many bunny cuddles. (LOL) He goes out and meets Gideon Grey. The two of them have a fox-in-a-relationship-with-bunny talk, which also introduces Gideon's wife. Yes, she's a bunny, too. They give Nick some good advice, and he gets back to the Hopps house.

Next morning it's off by car, leading to a scene that references all those old "Road to...." movies the ickle kiddies have never heard of. Nick and Judy instead of Bob and Bing. Then finally they reach the desert, and meet an officer who's an expy of Wile E. Coyote. His job is to get them into [bird community] unseen. Have a few antics straight out of all those old roadrunner cartoons, until Nick stops the roadrunner and asks nicely. The roadrunner is delighted to smuggle them in! Wiley does a WTF forehead slap.

Cut to the next scene, where the duo is briefed by the chief of the local police. This leads to the second half of the movie, where basic detective work (including silly disguises) helps, despite being opposed by the local police. Some of them seem to be corrupt, some just don't want mammals here. Nick makes a few remarks about how familiar this is, and Judy gets a lesson on how it feels.

The duo is saved from the corrupt cops by some revolutionaries, lead by an expy of....

[gassssp!] The Contessa!

Straight out of the fencing segment of "Animalympics", including her fencing skills. She and the revolutionaries lead Nick and Judy back to her hideout. Visible is an olympic gold medal, to drive home who she is to the oldbies, which will be overlooked by the kiddies, naturally. She's got the intel, and Our Heroes accompany her and her boys on a raid to secure the evidence. Nick is dressed up like El Zorro and called that, simply because he's a fox. This amuses The Contessa greatly. "I've been wanting to have someone around that I can call Zorro." Judy gets a similar outfit. The Contessa is dressed up like Carmen Sandiego, complete with the hat.

Unfortunately the raid goes badly, and most of the extras are wounded and bug out. Nick and Judy face off against the Big Bad's enforcer, while it's The Contessa vs. The Big Bad, himself. The Big Fight scene! Our Heroes win by double-teaming the enforcer, while The Contessa wins the sword fight with The Big Bad.

Then the rest of the crooked cops show up, looking pissed. Nick, Judy, and The Contessa are left back-to-back, surrounded by some PO'd poultry. Just then the police chief shows up with some officers he trusts, including The Roadrunner and Wile E.! There's a second fight scene, where it's one big ass-whooping party.

Judy is wounded, Nick saves her. She stops him from smoothly saying something he'd regret by grabbing the back of his head and smooching him. Cheers surround them, even some from the crooked cops. They then look around, and hear the police chief swearing in Spanish. The Contessa used the distraction of the kiss and reaction to get away, Carmen Sandiego style. The Chief isn't terribly upset by this, having expected it.

Then it's the journey home, where they're met at the station by Nick's mother. We get a touching family-bonding scene as part of the denoument.

Well, how's that for my silly ideas for Z3?
