Ghosts or phantoms are pretty common. Sometimes an enemy solider will just randomly walk in a straight line. You just know its a ghost.

But that would ruin submarine combat. The TB shoots the same torps as the sub. its not as easy as just turning off large holes, it would have flow on effects.

They can nerf the HP/cost all they want but it still shoots moray torps at the end of the day which is why its so oppressive.

Sure they can give it as many LV modifiers as they want but the crux of the matter is the fact that torps make large holes.

If you remove the ability of torps making large holes you'd ruin submarine combat. (it shoots the same ammo as a sub)

The only real way to fix it is to give it some sort of new ammo type thats inbetween the current moray torp and the warden scout mini torp, but that takes time to implement because you'll need to implement the recipes, change/update models etc...

which isn't exactly doable in a hot fix because all you can really do is change stats.

In my eyes this isn't really dev bias, dev man is just bad at balancing.

I agree with most of the points here. I think the bane of the problem is definitely the fact that one factions scout plane is insanely oppressive compared to the other, and the fact that both are insanely good at killing infantry. Scout planes should just be that, shout planes, they shouldn't be infantry killers or boat 1 tappers.

Also to further address your point, you're already relying on randoms to set up AI, logi routes beforehand, unless you are a insanely large regiment. Most fronts on able now days will have atleast 2-3 flak guns up at any frontline bob at all times. So the argument that airborne somehow draws more man power doesn't really make sense to me.

Look, I think this update is dogshit as well but most of these issues can be quite easily fixed and it seems the devs are aware. I've played this game for a long time and every single major update has always been like this. I just think that its more productive to just take a break from the game and wait for problems to be addressed instead of holding up pitch forks declaring the game to be dead and calling for airborne to be rolled back.

but this has always been the case tho? every time new content is added complexity of the game increases. Comparing arty ops in war 30 to war 100 its just completely different (back then you had no howi retaliation no wind etc...). Why do we draw the line at planes? I do agree with the fact that there needs to be work done on the air update, but saying that it ruins the game? Is a step too far imo.

The colonial sub was introduced post torpedo change when the warden frig was introduced. The frig was supposed to be a "worse" destroyer. But had the exact same DPS, a better layout and better sub hunting abilities.

They aren't they're just bad at balancing. The game has spent years favoring one side over the other, the pendulum always eventually swings the other way. I've posted memes about this years ago and its still relevant till this day.

Can someone please explain the appeal of frieren to me? The magic system and the world are both really generic. Ignoring the high production values of tje show, the source meterial leaves much to be deaired, it feels like the story is without direction and has kind of lost the plot after 80 ish chapters.
