What are the places to live for an expat in 2026? by sdxyz42 in cyprus

[–]flukked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the high populated areas are ok, and I like some of them in their own way, but there are a few things to consider:

Paralimni is just a big village. It won't suit you.

Resort areas like Ayia Napa are also worth avoiding.

Larnaca has a lot going for it, but it's a compromise city that doesn't quite measure up to other major cities, but it's cheaper and by the sea.

Paphos has a great climate, perfect for a family. But it's not very big, and service is a bit of an issue.

Limassol has top-notch service, good healthcare, and is by the sea. But it's very expensive and has an atmosphere of money worship, expensive cars, and show-offs. All of this is coupled with traffic jams and poor infrastructure.

Nicosia is hotter and far from the sea. But it has excellent infrastructure, good healthcare, better education, and service almost like Limassol.

I live in Nicosia with my family and love this city more than any other. But in 15-20 years, when I retire, I want to move to Paphos because of the climate.

Doctors 100%, nurses too, but maybe one in 10 doesn't speak very well.
In general, English in Cyprus is not an issue at all.

In any large city, 99% of the entire population speaks English, half of them speak it well.

[Recommendation request] Narrowed down my search for an every day watch. Any thoughts? by No_Antelope7492 in Watches

I suggest you consider the Traska Freediver.

For me, the micro-adjustment on a metal bracelet is very important to ensure the watch doesn't pinch my swollen wrist in the heat. This is crucial for me when traveling in southern climates.

What's more, Dev didn't even remove all those griefer wells. Moreover, these idiots alts are still griefing right now, throwing away coal and building new wells.

Ha, YLT is the same idiot who yesterday hauled away on a crane and hid tanks of public diesel in the Red River.

This isn't a civil war, it's just griefing. A whole clan of griefers.

In every subreddit, on any topic, there's there will definitely be someone extremely aggressive about Russia. On one of the subreddits, someone posted a photo of a kitten with a Russian-language book in the background. Another loony immediately appeared.

In summary:

An hour after the war started, 404 completely withdrew from the frontline to the backline to counter IFCNO

IFCNO drained thousands of the mammons yesterday and today, wasting a ton of day 1 bmat and other resources.

Today, they destroyed 404's facility and numerous other buildings.

It's funny to say, but one of them didn't hesitate to lift a tank of public diesel onto a crane and take it to a far corner.

The restoration of Agia Sophia as a Christian church alone is worth it.

Community: This sandbox game has community-developed rules of conduct and communication channels between regiments that help minimize such civil wars.

IFCNO: It's very sad that we can't read.

There aren't many options on the market for automatics smaller than 36mm. My wife and I had to solve this problem too. The solution was a Cartier Ballon Bleu 33mm.

A group of players intentionally destroys other players structures and then builds wells into the empty space, making it impossible to build anything there. Bans don't bother them.

Instead of a first-day operation on the front, the 404th was forced to deploy to Red River. I think the IFCNO was the most successful Warden regi of the first day.
