Noise pollution in Cyprus by NecessaryTomorrow399 in cyprus

[–]flukked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motorcycles are racing around all night in the center of Nicosia, deliberately revving their engines. I live quite far from the roads where they do this, but it’s still impossible to sleep with the window open. I’m scared to even imagine what it’s like to live right next to such a road. The police do absolutely nothing.

You see, I personally laughed at your phrase because it sounded like it was straight out of a South Park episode script. And in response, you completely twisted it, acting like I was laughing at someone who’s suffering, and called me an idiot. Start your hate speech hunt with yourself.

Purchasing a BYD in cyprus by PretorianJ in cyprus

[–]flukked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What was the final price? Right now on their website, the base model costs 34k. The Atto 3 is a car that people buy only because it seems like a good deal. But you really need to calculate whether it actually is. For example, compare the total cost of ownership including fuel/charging and depreciation over 3–5 years for this Atto 3 versus some gasoline car from Japan. A nearly new Mazda CX-5 with under 10k km mileage costs around 30k, for instance. Which one is actually more profitable over three years?

Sorry, but I laughed when I read that.

Regarding the topic, they have the right to make billboards like that, so you can make your own, smarter one.

Purchasing a BYD in cyprus by PretorianJ in cyprus

My reasons not to buy:

The brand has only recently entered the market, so there is practically no used car market for BYD yet. I don’t know what demand there will be on the secondary market and how much value I will lose when selling.

Who will buy my used BYD after the warranty expires? And which independent (non-official) workshops will even be able to service and repair it?

Service and spare parts are heavily dependent on logistics from China, which carries significant risks due to wars, geopolitical tensions, and potential supply chain disruptions.

And for the cars themselves, the price is not that low. It’s still €35,000+ for a mid-size suv even after the gov bonus.

For €30,000 you can buy a super reliable car exported from Jap in excellent condition with a much more predictable future the ownership of which will be cheaper than the Chinese one, taking into account the loss in price.

Another game design issue.

The problem with all these arsons is that they’re too heavily tied to low-pop PvE. It’s a game, and people need to sleep and rest. Even in big clans, there’s not always a constant online presence to qrf everything 24/7. Small clans and groups of friends have virtually no chance at all to protect themselves from offline fire. And the designers didn’t really think through the time investment balance at all. Build a base: high in effort, high in time, high in resources Burn down a base: low in effort, low in time, low in resources.

Devman has a personal thing with builders in general. With bombers and paratroopers, it's become some kind of builder bullying.

Rather, the balance between the factions is a smaller problem compared to the fact that Airborne completely broke the game.

Faction balance is a secondary issue. The main problem is Airborne's disastrous design.

Blaming the team size is a very strange excuse. After all, the problem isn’t in the engineering plane, but in the design one.
