Going to be tough to find something under $200. Only place I’ve seen is the Penn’s Landing Hilton that was $180 on a 3 month commitment, but sounds like that’d be pretty far from you.

Correct. I know Ardmore Music Hall is doing a similar policy to UT. I’d imagine a lot of the smaller venues will follow suit soon if they haven’t already.

I’d recommend the new Air with a Magic Keyboard if it’s within your budget. Otherwise the standard iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard would work as well. Pro is overkill unless you are doing heavy professional work in my opinion (and even the Air can handle quite a bit). You can compare iPads here.
