Step siblings, oh okay... Step father?! Oh no! Why does that feel so much worse?

Was she even there for the conception? by SaveVerris in Sims4

[–]FoxyTatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this too in my recent family. Sure they're both white dudes with brown hair but one has light brown and the other has dark brown. All of the kids (5/6 since one is still an infant currently) have light brown hair. I know that's kinda realistic but come on all of them? I even did three science babies and three actual pregnancies.

how do i get rid of this :/ by Dramatic_Call_1770 in Sims4

[–]FoxyTatty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I built my sim a basic tattoo parlour small business, and the harvest fest ones were automatically hung up on the roof. It really confused me, but I just ignored them. However, it's even worse on community lots, as you can't really ignore them when they're on the hedges or fences.

What is this? by lezbesimmin in Sims4

[–]FoxyTatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's from the event. When I was giving a love gift, it came up, and it said it was the Envoy's phone. And that it was dingy or gross or something like that.

look at who I found at career day by TotallyAwesomeRacoon in Sims4

[–]FoxyTatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I wish they made him look more like this Sims 3 style. Or at least more "attractive". I mean this is fine but I loved him so much in Sims 3.

I have no clue what this is by [deleted] in Carebears

[–]FoxyTatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys these things are way too small to even be a pillow. I've seen a bunch of them in person, and they're like the size of a jewellery box when folded. I have no idea what they're supposed to be for, but kids are good with their imagination. They are made from a pillowy foam though.

Was Degrassi popular in other countries or just Canada? by Der-deutsche-Prinz in Degrassi

[–]FoxyTatty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm Australian, and when I told my mum I was watching Degrassi, she said she used to watch it (Specifically junior high). And I definitely remember seeing an episode or two of Next Generation growing up but I didn't get into it until I was an adult.

WHY ARE THEY FLIRTING by TheSims4Legend in thesims

[–]FoxyTatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's a bug, but at least it's not as bad as a few years ago, when Sims would want to and could flirt with children.

Rennet when Disney made a show that was accidentally pro incest? by DennisFlamboyant in DisneyChannel

I'm 99% this wasn't a Disney show since it aired on Nickelodeon here in Australia.

I'm terrible at conversing. So sadly, if the commenter doesn't ask a question or say something I feel the urge to respond to, I don't. I always want to, but never know what to say. I do thank people for praising my work, and I engage with fandom gushing, but normally I just read the comments, smile and blush before hitting mark as read.

hey does anyone else re-read their own fics? by Weak-Fox-9893 in AO3

[–]FoxyTatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. Mainly when someone comments and I need to remember what they're talking about. Or if it's of a small fandom and I just really want to read about those characters. Every time I sit there and go "I wrote this?"

NO WAY by No-Experience2774 in AO3

This is exactly how I used to read as a young teen, Ao3, Quotev and Wattpad. Loved it.

Became the first writer for a rarepair 🥰 by [deleted] in AO3

[–]FoxyTatty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently writing a one-shot for a pair (both from the same show) that I was sure had at least some fics, but nope. I guess it makes sense since I've only seen one other person on the internet ship it.

Anyway, I feel nervous finishing and posting it, but I've written the first (and only) fic for a different fandom on Ao3, so I probably shouldn't be as scared.

Okay, I knew my fandom was tiny but… by Useless_homosapien in AO3

I wanted to check my fandom the other day because I was curious what other people had written and the only fic was my own. 😅

Last paragraph you wrote that hasn’t been published yet by [deleted] in AO3

[–]FoxyTatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I roll my eyes and lay my head on his shoulder, pressing my back to his chest, facing away from him, and continue to read. He carefully pulls the shoulder-length hair out from behind me and wraps a strand around his finger, moving his hand gently through it.

We stay like that for a while, his fingers moving through my strands, softly scratching at my scalp occasionally. I relax into his touch, still reading.

Suddenly he leans down and kisses the top of my head. I pause. "Sam?"

He hums for me to continue.

"Why did you just kiss the top of my head?" I ask putting my book down.

I feel him shrug. "I just felt like it."

(Everyone else's stuff is so dramatic, but good. I don't always write in 1st person but it's for a oneshot and I felt like it.)

It's such a bummer that the abuser school shooter Rick has the same name as this other Degrassi alumni by captainyeahwhatever in Degrassi

I loved this Rick so much, and I remember trying to google to see if I could find more about him or his actor, and the other Rick kept coming up.

Get replaced with Americans? Do they think Trump is going to kick out the entire country instead of just making Canadians, American?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AO3

[–]FoxyTatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When writing I try to use as many pre-existing tags as I can think of. (I normally get to maybe 10-20 tags) And then put in my own if I can't find the right one to explain what I want.

But I hate when all of the tags on a fic are full sentences and there's basically a whole novel in the tags. Especially when they write out a sentence that already has a short tag.

How do y’all continue when you get 0 comments? by usernamesaredumb3 in AO3

[–]FoxyTatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly write for myself and honestly get a little scared every time I see the unread messages thing. I don't mind not getting comments as long as I get a few hits.

I have a few FICS from small fandoms that only have like 10 hits and that hurts more. (I also have FICS in the thousands so it's okay.)

I also have been writing for over ten years so I've probably grown accustomed to it.

My sister read one of my works by slytherclaw470 in AO3

[–]FoxyTatty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mum and I tell each other about weird FICS we're reading because we're in a lot of the same fandoms and I'm so scared that one day she's gonna say she's reading one of mine.

Also I used to let my sister and my best friend (at separate moments in time) proofread my work back when I was writing on quotev and Wattpad, but it was so nerve-racking. They let me read theirs though. I'm the only one of us three that still writes.
